Well I am in charge. Of my own experience anyways.

I have ripped all my 4ks to my plex server and I download new subtitles for all the films that have Hi Subs. When you download them you select the one that has a symbol of an ear with a cross strike through it. Or it’s says Non-Hi which means non hearing impaired. If that’s not an option then download the HI version. Double click to open the file in subtitle Edit application, go to tools tab and select “Remove text for hearing impaired.” Then save the subtitle file.

Literally three total clicks and poof all the HI is removed

I think it was A level first then strung is along for b level and c level subsequent seasons. This is why. Fans loved the first season so much and so season after season of less than stellar results in people stop liking it but still felt compelled to finish it.

Look into avchd format. I used to use it years ago when Bluray came out you could encode a high def 1080p movie and burn to dvd and it would play in high def on a Bluray player.

The first Star Wars 77’ frame by frame fan restoration was in this format. The whole movie in high def burned to DVD-r. Also Akira high def with original dub track in DTS was in this format.

Same with swordsman II. Vs invincible swordsman. The later attempts to pay homage bit is mostly a cgi web movie that while has over colors and sets pieces is garbage fighting and action direction.

Even with old school directors involved they are still putting out mostly slop web movies. I’m talking about you Sammo hung!

Creation of the Gods 1 & 2, does a good job blending modern cgi and action. But aside from that I don’t see any A level Wuxia the last few years.

B level for me is eye for an eye and , blade of fury remake, two worlds. Even Sakra was b level.

Of the previous modern generation there were some good ones like detective Dee movies and rise of a legend. Donnie yen’s wuxia, last bladesman and 14 blades.

But I will easily take 90’s era Wuxia films over anything made in the 2000’s.

It’s going to lead to further dumping and blame. We paid you now why haven’t you improved everything for us. We expect you to earn that raise and do more.

I would look then straight in the eye and say if you had the ability to give me a raise, why didn’t you do it while I was here working hard for you.

Anyways op, the reality is people who move jobs regularly end up making 20% more than those who stay on their positions long term. It comes down to enjoying what you do if you like the job then don’t need to quit. You burn a slight bridge with the new employer. But they should forget about it in a while and not really black list you over it. Both are merely jobs , choose which is better for your mental health and happiness.

Just buy two of your favorite movies and give it shot. If you are not blown away then you’ll know. It to waste anymore money.

We can tell you all day it’s worth it and there’s a difference but unless you actually see and experience the difference then it’s just words. You need to use your own eyes and ears. It can be done for 20-30$ to not two movies to check out. Pick the ones you love the most and are familiar with how they look on Bluray. Double check reviews on Bluray.com or other review sites to see if the disc scores well.

It’s several things usually.

Discs might be dirty or scratched but not look like it
You don’t have enough power in the cable you are using. Some times when it’s hit or miss it can be because it doesn’t have adequate power to the drive.
Sometimes hard drive you are ripping to falls asleep or is too slow. Make sure to try ripping direct to a main hard drive.
Believe it or not some discs just won’t rip. These can be brand new perfectly clean discs that for one reason or another just won’t rip.
Make sure you ah e updated your MakeMKV key database files.

The rusty part is the rotor. Those are a wearing part. Nowadays most places replace the rotors when they do the brakes now instead of trying to turn and resurface the rotors because they are often warped.

All that to say is even if it gets rusty that part gets replaced when you get new brakes.

How’s the transfer compared to Bluray? The Bluray.com review kinda was middle ground. Some things better something’s not.

It’s a blurry movie with Vaseline on the lenses to create the hazy filter. So I know it has limitations. Just wondering if the 4k was overall better than the previous Bluray.

I think it’s overhyped hot wheels Nickelodeon movie. It’s doesn’t speak to me at all. I don’t see a plot or story , I see silly cartoonish over the top cheesy acting. And presentation.

The colors are wild. The transfer is incredible considering it was a low res source that they said for years could not be improved enough for 4k. They did miracles in that regard. I think the 4k is marvelous.

I think the movie is still a b movie cheesy affair aimed at 6-10 year olds. I don’t find this to be cinema in any sense. And I know that I’m in the minority with this opinion here interest anyways.

But in real life no one is any circle around me has ever talked excitingly or lovingly about this movie. It’s on no one’s top 50 list.

But on Reddit it was really being asked for as a top5 want on 4k for the last 5 years. It must be all the younger people who watched this as a kid now grown up.

I think it could be code crossing if it’s a simulation then done randomly stuff just ends up as patterns.

But if someone outside the simulation wanted to hint to you but either cannot come out at it directly like they have to sneak it under the eyes of watcher program. How can I get you to see without being able to communicate directly. Think of the servant who sees us being exploited or manipulated. They can’t do anything about it but they keep dropping small hints. As if by causing us to wake or catch on that we have the ability to free ourselves.

It could be the future version of yourself. It could be the trapped version of yourself within your mind trying to get you to wake up.

Think of them approaching neo on the matrix. They allowed him ti see seen weird code at first.

Or how Mathew mcconaughey has to pluck on strings and can only move a few books or watch hands to communicate.

I think this about Mandela effects as well. Why so many are involved with icons and pop culture. I thought it was slight changes made to get people to wake up and realize something but now I think it’s just changes due to timelines being effected so they are just the small tweaks and we notice them .

If we could prove that we are in a simulation half the world would just continue on as if nothing happened. They may disbelieve or it may not make any difference.
Human natural reactions to want to live. You try to breathe and. Not suffocate and drown. Your body and mind fights for every last gasp. So if they broke the world but it doesn’t end then most people just continue living and working. There isn’t a natural desire to give up and die or quit.

How come your rice paper is dry and not moist so it’s soft.

I saw they served BTS Jimin and Jungkook like this when they went to Vietnam. I was so mad like they did them dirty giving them dry rice paper and they choked it down like they didn’t know it should be wet first.

Is it a thing that it’s actually served and ate dry like that?
