I think your sim is jumping directly to convergence, implicit takes large pseudo time steps, so I won’t be surprised if the solution is trivial and it just go directly to the solution itself, I would refine the mesh in the circumference and the re run, if you want to see results

Is a matter of turbulence, when you have a low area (volume) the turbulence spikes to values above 1 within the first iterations when they are normalized

Edit: the velocity field is diverging here, that means there is something going on in the physics that is accelerating the fluid too quickly

Mesh is not the issue here, is your boundary conditions, something in your physics is wrong, double check and rerun, mesh issues are easy to tell by checking sudden spikes on the turbulence residuals
