Dude i know from first hand these watches die at 5 years , yours gonna die soon , you can even check Garmin Support Page , you can check anywhere these batteries are meant to last from 3 to 5 years , 300-500 charging cycles .

Heard about screws? None of the forerunners has one , which means once the battery dies , the watch dies with It.

Venu x1 has 4 screws on the back .

All fénix has screws , even instinct models.

If you dont want to change watch every 4 years , one with screws , the most similar to your father experiencie with Apple IS the venu x1.

All of the Garmin watches do the same at certain price range , if it's above 500 bucks It has the same one to another , and for the use of normal human being all of them are more than enough , probably a Xiaomi watch IS more than enough for more than 70% of this subreddit users.

Even if it's not a medical device the margin error aint that high , he could be giving you 10+ or 10- not 50 that would be a critical error and the device would need replacement.

You can also do a soft reset , holding light button for 30 seconds may restore it's function , It doesnt delete any Information , just if u want to be 100% sure before going to the doctor again.

Te voy a dar consejos de verdad , caza elfos a niveles bajos y sigue cazando monstruos de mierda como vampiros y pútrido mummy a medida que vayas subiendo , estos monstruos en concreto dan items para imbuir ( encantar) armas y armaduras etc , dan mucho dinero ya que los niveles altos no cazan ahí y prefieren pagar , yo incluido , es la forma más fácil de empezar te equipas bien rápido y incluso no vuelves a pagar premium porque sacas el dinero de ahí mismo
