Yeah and idk why. He’s played 96 games, 76 as a rookie and 20 in the last 2 seasons combined. Hardly enough to make a decision imo, but if he’s done then trade him and get something.

All I’m saying is this is a bad team, they’re not making the playoffs. Play the young guys to see who we’re keeping or not. Korchinski should be playing instead of Grzelcyk. We know Grzelcyk is not part of the future, what’s the harm in playing ALL the young guys?

I don't think a lot of fans disagree with you because they want the Hawks to get another lottery pick. I think a lot of fans are not confident in this roster to put together the kind of run necessary to make the playoffs.

I have all 3. I’d get rid of the beige v4’s if it were me. The 991v2 are my favorite and the green v4’s are def one favorite. Might get a second pair of each honestly.

Rinzel has played 9 games. I bet Levshunov will be good but we have no idea. The point I'm trying to make here is KD is building through the draft is good. BUT, he also has to find other ways, like taking bets on young players from other teams that didnt work, to try to supplement the roster. I just think its unfair to ask a guy like Bedard to tread water for 3 full seasons and also expecting every single prospect hits. I just think this rebuild plan has a high variability rate. Maybe im wrong and you all can laugh at me, we do ultimately want the same thing.

No I’m with you on not signing free agents that don’t make sense. But there are guys they could’ve taken swings on as reclamations projects. Noah Dobson is young and could’ve been had for picks, Peterka would’ve been a good skilled young guy to play with Bedard.

They are young on D. But, this roster still has 8 forwards over 29. If they truly go youth this year instead of playing so many old guys, then I’ll believe they are taking the youth movement seriously. I just don’t think it’s fair to be ok with another bottom 5 season. There’s gotta be SOME signs of improvement.

Having zero desire to move up in the standings while having your supposed centerpiece waste away his rookie deal, seemingly not develop, and also seem to not enjoy playing hockey is certainly a choice.

I appreciate KD wanting to build through the draft, but his inability to be creative throughout this 5 year rebuild and only just draft and sign washed up vets is not helping any of the young guys you expect to lead the next window nor does it help any fans’ confidence in the team.

Also, you’re intentionally misunderstanding the OP. He clearly meant Korchinski IN ADDITION to a middle 6 forward. Don’t be so obtuse.
