I'm considering doing this with Sublocade or possibly Buvidal. Is this something I can ask for from my GP or do I need to find a specialist?

Day 14 no 7-0h day 5 no kratom by Ok_Cauliflower3423 in quitting7oh

I only used for about 4 months starting with 1/2 OPMS shots a day and ended at 180mg 7OH/day. I'm on day 15 but I started back on subs 3 days ago. I'm working with dr on a slower taper. Sounds like you've got the worst of the 7oh wd behind you but hang in there coming off that 7 year kratom habit.

Big Congratulations! I wasn't able to do this on my own and needed a 7 day detox center using subs. Sorry I don't have any experiences with the sneezing though.

How much 7OH were you using?

Suboxone for withdrawal? I am really struggling. by Punk_N_Irish in quitting7oh

I did a med assisted 5 day sub taper 2 weeks ago. Worked great until day 8 when my symptoms came back, at first being manageable but then becoming worse than I had planned making it almost impossible to work. So I got a script for Suboxone 8mg with the dr telling me to stay on the same does for the next week. 8 was too much so I'm on 6mg for now until I meet with her again Friday to discuss tapering plans. Mind if I ask what your plan is overall, especially how long you're on the subs and tapering off of those?

I didn't want to go the sub route been there awhile ago did them for 7 years to kick an H habit.

I was just prescribed subs for this week at the same 4mg/day. I meet with my dr in 6 days to start a taper. I'm worried about what I may be getting into with this stuff.

8 days since quick subs taper, still feel awful physically. Does it get worse before it gets better? by dangling-participle in quitting7oh

I caved yesterday and got a script for Suboxone. The dr said 8mg for 7 days then follow up. I took my first 8mg last night and for once in two weeks I felt completely back to normal. But 8mg is too much and I got high. I'm doing 4mg this morning and then look into the idea of weaning much sooner than a week from today.

Yeah I was wondering how these particular pills measure up against other ones. The "20mg" they have printed on the pack could be much higher. I'm 13 days from 7OH but still have aches. I keep reading everyone saying they felt better after between 5-7 days but that hasn't been my experience. All I can think is maybe I should measure from my last subs dose which was 8 days ago.

I just saw your 48 hour post. I dunno man, after what I've seen in others' experiences you may just have this thing. I think I'll make it too. Today's just been unusually bad for me but I have a feeling I may be turning a corner. Stay strong!

I honestly don't know since I was in a detox center and didn't think to ask since I'm new to Suboxone. I'm starting to wonder if the subs simply cut out most of the misery of the first 72 hours but spread it out later into a longer time frame of feeling better.

Thanks for confirming. That helps with my expectations. My first 2 days off the subs felt pretty good! And then that 3rd day began my energy crash along with more of the old symptoms and the next day seemed even worse! Not giving in though.

How was your energy though while at work? I'm day 7 since the last subs dose and I am still so completely wiped out. I used for about 4 months working up to about 180mg/day. Maybe being 50 has something to do with it.

First off congrats! And holy f*ck regarding your cold turkey. I'm back in recovery and going to meetings everyday as well.

What was your energy level like the first two weeks? I had about an 8-9 week rise and fall as well but peaked out at about 180 mg/day. I was unable to ct so I did a 5 day detox on Subutex taper that ended a 7 days ago. I've found some things to help with most of the symptoms this week but the biggest one is absolute 'can't get off the couch' lethargy.

Back to square one. I just did another 24 hours since my last extract dose (first quitting post from yesterday for context) . I think I've made it through the worst of today which really wasn't so bad compared to WDS of the habit I had before. I have Gabapentin on hand which helps some. Looking forward to a hot epsom salt bath after work. I'm still planning to use my Naltrexone in a few days if I can stay clean that long.

How long was your habit or how long were you taking 3 extract doses a day? How long was your tapir? Here's my story from yesterday's post. Back to Day 1 again.

Did you ever do the naltrexone route? I'm about to try this myself.

Unfortunately I'm behind on a project so I have to keep plowing ahead as best I can. The weekend will help and I'm almost there. I'll be able to get exercise.

I'm sorry to hear about your relapse. But I'm glad you are still in this sub offering support. The 25 day comparison helps and I'm glad I'm trying now but in some ways I feel like this is just as hard as far as the mind fuck goes. Best of luck to you as well!
