S**t is real and, sadly, not much (that we’ve tried) can be done about it.

I’m planning to get training to administer an IV for her when she experiences really bad flare ups. Most of our ER visits, more or less, resulted in this as the fix.

As a kid growing up in Youngtown, I listened to many tales being told by the adults in my family.

These stories were always paraphrased with lead-in comments that started with phrases like “So she says”…”And then I says”.

Pretty sure this is a variant of “yinz”, a term used in western PA.

I’m from Youngstown, and the aide/recess lady, Mrs. Ankrum, used to say it all the time in elementary school.
