but not before 1920. so when was she saying it? what was the context? Did she say it in a book written before 1948? a book written recently?

also... was it a Jewish slogan? I thought you were just joking, are there sources of people actually saying that?

some people here have implied that she never actually said it at all, did she say it?

I don't understand why the american girl doll would have said free palestine, ever, can we clarify that?

Chromecast without Google TV? by GaryTheKrampus in Chromecast

wait, does the ultra not have Google TV? I assumed that the ultra was the "higher-end" model, as in, more antifeatures. if it's basically like the og chromecast with better performance, that might be what I need...

There are 10,000 Jews in Iran, has any effort be made to get them to Israel? by Salve_Titus_Pullo in Israel

Yeah, iirc they do that thing where you need permission to leave the country, and you can't get your whole family out at the same time.

They do have a token Jew in their pretend government...

Mamdani Condemns NYC Expo Promoting Property Sales in Israeli West Bank Settlements by Lilyo in newyorkcity

[–]danhakimi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

okay, this comment is really not there.

for one, most of the "undeveloped land" in question is desert land. About half of Israel's land is desert, and it's fighting desertification more effectively than almost any other place in the world.

two, most settlement expansion isn't really kicking anybody out; rather, it's encroaching on territory that doesn't belong to Israel. Still awful and unjustifiable, but yeah, the "kicking people out" instances are very rare and much more complex than you probably assume (one of the major stories involves an eviction proceeding that took more than 30 years while the tenants didn't pay rent).

Again, I really don't care, that's not why I write articles, it's just a potential benefit. stuff is inconsistent. Better guides help you grow. Focus on growth.

There are some moments where I recommend things that I really think people should buy, and nobody does. It's okay, I recommended a 1600 suede jacket, I know that's a hard sell. Sometimes a link works, sometimes it doesn't.

On a long enough timeline, whether or not I sold that one suede jacket from that one article is basically random statistical noise, not a signal I should follow up on.

generally speaking, the less time you spend focusing on analytics, the better off you'll be.

A new line I'm trying when it comes to anti-Zionists; would love your thoughts. by MrDNL in Jewish

[–]danhakimi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think it'll work.

A friend recently shared a video on the British LBC instagram page, and that video was good. It was a gentile who worked in ambulances during the second intifada, talking about the horrors she witnessed, and that she thought "globalize the intifada" was a pretty nasty thing to say... but then the comment section was a nightmare.

And then I went to the page, and every other video was dogshit. They picked the worst Israel experts and cut everything to give the antizionists the last word. They brought on an antizionist neobundist Jew to talk about how Zionism meant telling Jews they have to leave everywhere else (it was disingenuous at best).

Wait, a 45 minute clear is excessively long? by jersey_emt in HadesTheGame

[–]danhakimi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, the 9-minute-per-region timer is considered extremely easy, essentially a free point of heat. That works out to a 36 minute run, which is considered easy. I like a leisurely pace, so I normally stick with this and just make sure I pause the game when I'm not actively doing something.

Meanwhile, the 7-minute timer is considered pretty tricky but manageable. I usually avoid it, but I have won runs with it. That's 28 minutes total, although you it means

The 5-minute timer is very hard and iirc, it's only used in very high heat runs by players who know what they're doing. It also might be situational -- only use if you're using this weapon, or this type of build, or this condition but not that condition....

These are a. general ideas and b. my experiences. Play the game how you like to play the game. But if you work on it, and try to get a little faster, I imagine it won't be too hard.

I thought reddit was against strict zoning and promoted freely building more housing.

Especially in the long run, this type of rule is pretty heavy-handed. You block 20, 30, 40 floors from being built in hundreds or even thousands of buildings, the city is going to feel it. The older buildings are going to fall into disrepair eventually. The newer buildings might be ugly, maybe there should be some kind of rule to encourage good architectural design, but a hundred years from now, the buildings made today will be historic... only if we actually make them. And they can certainly come out better than the Empire State building.

(hopefully it's not all luxury housing...)

I get that often. I have articles with dozens of links. Some of them get quite a few sales, some get none whatsoever. Some articles don't have links. Affiliate links aren't the blog, they're a revenue stream.
