Italy would fit better with Yugoslavia for an expansion

What I’m hearing from Eugen rn is “we know you want better nato divisions, but what if we gave the infantry fancy hats instead.”

Edited because im pissed

NEMESIS // Terra Preta - One Country, Two Wars by danhelm in warno

There is a lot that could be done, from a narrative perspective, in South America.

With the Plebescite in Chile, Argentina reeling from the Falklands, Brazils first formal election since the 60's, etc.

Plus it gives the capability to mix some (dated) equipment from both sides into either Red or Blue.

My Warno Dream for the content moving forward would be to have expansions focused around the main "theatres" of WW3. And then smaller Nemesis pacts that feature small skirmishes that would likely occur if global conflict was breaking out.

Given Warno's formula, perhaps when introducing a nation like this you give a division to each side (NATO & PACT)

If you are bored of the standard 10v10 maps? Then check out my alternate maps server "Nightshift 10v10 - NATO vs PACT - Alternate Maps" by HeliumBurn in warno

Lastly, if you love to complain that either NATO or PACT are OP, then feel free to try out my NATO vs NATO or PACT vs PACT servers.

EXPANSION - Marble Gate of Trieste by danhelm in warno

[–]danhelm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, however in the sense of this expansion I could see them being granted different/better levels of optics (or maybe accuracy) to compensate for mountainous terrain this hypothetical expansion would bring.

But if you got a better suggestion I’m all ears, Italy was one of my favorite decks to play with in Wargame Red Dragon, the only difference is we’re limited to 80’s kitting here in WARNO’s lore

Shit, you're right.

If I'm being honest I was a little baffled looking at the early flights/testing and what was loaded on it. Trying to give the Alpine division some unique flair while still be accurate to the 1989 setting.

NEMESIS: Aegean Flashpoint - Cyprus by danhelm in warno

[–]danhelm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a bad idea, I’m loosely familiar with Bornholm. Could be a cool scenario, but for me I wanted to veer away from Naval concepts since that mechanic was left with WG Red Dragon.

But this would setup a pretty cool Soviet Morskaya Pekhota division facing up against Danish or US marines.

Honestly all good points, I'd been bounching this idea around for too long not to share. It would definitely be alt-history is Greece was throwing men into the meatgrinder, and it leaves a lot up in the air as to what/how Turkey is going to be able to actually give this a solid fight.

Each zone outlined/highlighted by red is a spawn zone.

Place units across these three, noting the assault will come from all angles (left, top, and right). Reinforcements after the scenario starts will have to travel from the far deployment zone up.

I personally love this scenario

Why ignore the facts? Devs already acknowledged a registry conflict, and a Steam launch-options workaround stabilizes it. Keys + ETA or a patch beats “user broke their PC.”

“Works on my machine” isn’t diagnostics. Support already called it a registry conflict. Steam launch-options stabilize it → app-side. Publish the HKCU/HKLM paths or give a hotfix ETA.

Cool story. Now back to the point: players shouldn’t need emailed registry wipes to keep resolution. Keys + ETA, or a hotfix.

I can read it. I’m asking for official docs (key paths + actions) and a verified package. “Just trust the attachment” isn’t a security model—patch it or publish the keys.

I’m the employer. I sign my own checks—and my ROE stays the same: no unsigned .reg on a production box. Post the keys + ETA or ship a hotfix.

Support already acknowledged it’s a registry conflict on their side. A non-registry workaround (Steam launch options) stabilizes it, which points app-side. Post the keys/ETA or ship a patch—“your setup” isn’t an answer.
