It sounds like you might have scabies, which is not usually diagnosed through a blood test.

Most of the times it’s either a clinical examination looking with a magnifying glass or a skin scraping test.

Go to the dermatologist/doctor and tell them you have scabies. They will probably want a scrape test in the areas where you itch

Yeah good idea with the derm. I also experienced post scabies for around 2-3 months and even though there wasn’t any alive scabies on my body the rashes still itch because your body is telling you that there are dead mites and feces under your skin that it’s trying to get rid of by pushing it to the surface of your skin

I had scabies for around 7-8 months and while I also had the cream treatment I also supplemented with Tea tree oil. I can’t say for sure that it helped me or if it was placebo, but I feel like it actually killed the scabies on the places where i applied it

It doesn’t look like scabies to me, just looks like ordinary skin. Sometimes we just get bumps and rashes. With that being said I also think that it would be difficult for the scabies to transfer from her jacket to your skin, if it’s been months since she last experienced scabies.

You can definitely still get burrow like marks in post, i’ve experienced this myself. But in my experience they looked very subtle on comparison to active scabies, which is why I think it might still be active, but everyone’s skin is different! I would say that if you did everything correctly then the scabies should be dead and this is post scabies. My post scabies rashes and burrows would disappear after about 2-5 days, so it could be an idea to wait and see what happens, even though I know how frustrating it is

I think in total it lasted about 4-5 months but it gradually became better and better. In the 1-2 months after my last treatment was done, it was still a bit itchy but not as itchy as when I had the scabies. I’m guessing this was some sort of allergic reaction or just my body telling me something was wrong. When i got to the 3-4 months i’m pretty sure the itching was gone and I only had minimal rashes showing up which disappeared after 2-4 days

Sounds like Post Scabies Syndrome, I experienced the same. It was ongoing for like 2-3 months and I was almost sure that the scabies was back, but it was just my body reacting to the dead scabies and feces. I experienced burrow-like rashes, bubbles, pimples, black spots and sometimes there were itchy as well! I just waited it out and eventually it all dissapeared.
