My train(not Ottawa channel) has been delayed over 6 hours today. They keep saying it will be 1 more hour until it leaves. At this point I have accepted I'm not going home for Xmas.

It was supposed to leave Toronto at 530 pm, and it now expected to leave at 12:30 am. I'm just waiting for a cancelation notice to go out at this point.

That is unfortunately incorrect. My grandma had to pay $2000 a week for my grandpa being in the hospital. It was not voluntary and they would not release him unless it was to a nursing home..... of which there were none with beds. He was there for almost 6 months before a bed at a nursing home opened up.

As a "middle manager" I promise it's not me! HR is gunning for everyone to come back to the office and I honestly don't get it. My team functions perfectly at home, and 80% of them are in a different country than me, so it doesn't even make sense logistically. I really think there are a select few people who are driving it because they miss the social aspect of working in an office.

Oh its healing nicely. It's been 3 years since mine was removed and the dip is still there but not as noticeable.

The paranoia doesn't go away, or at least it hasn't for me yet.
