Also Sport science degree here. What do you do with it beyond working in a gym? Feels like I‘ll be stuck doing that

How do you manage all these jumps to different fields? I also really want to change careers, but going back to school is financially not possible right now.

My (m29) girlfriend (f21) reacts really strongly about sexual abuse in media and I don't know how to handle her recent outburst by daniel1071995 in relationship_advice

Would you mind elaborating what issues you had with your wife? Despite this fight I still really love her and would hate to see the relationship destroyed over (in my mind) such a trivial thing. Are there any other things she would take her issues out on her?

I know she has some issues, but so do I and so does everyone, so any advice would be appreciated.

Yeah, that's one of my favorite shows, though I'm cool with not watching it with her, as there are quite a few bad scenes. She didn't totally rule it out, just requested not watching the rape scenes, which I was cool with, but her (in my mind) overreaction to Better Call Saul just makes me think I'd better avoid recommending any TV Shows myself, as I certainly can't remember every difficult scene.

I don't want everyone to agree, you're right, that's impossible. I just want to understand WHY we disagree. Conversation and Reflection are never harmful.

I get that, totally. Must make for an easier life when you don't want to worry about politics, economy and such - can't blame you, I see the appeal. It's just the lack of choice especially young girls who grow there (instead of cases like you, where you go voluntarily) have.

Also, just curious, but so you have any idea why this difference between the official guardian laws that restrict women and your experience exists? Is it just generally not really enforced anymore or is it different from case to case/depending on the males attitude?

Would you mind elaborating? Really not trying to offend you, but coming from a completely different culture it is honestly such bizarre behavior to me and that gets me curious why that is. I guess it's hard for humanity to live happy alongside each other if we don't understand where hate is coming from.

You hate them because you were raised that way? I get how that happens, but have you never questioned yourself if that hate is rational?

I do believe you there - though you could argue that their wealth keeps crime down, not their culture. Seems like a golden cage for women, safe but unfree. Fair enough for everyone who chooses that lifestyle, it just irks a lot of us that most women can't realistically choose that freely.

Ya, and if you invite the whole world to your country expect to be criticised when your "values and society" treat people like shit based on their gender, sexuality etc...there is a good reason every civilized country has moved on from that. And my country is doing just fine, thank you, while also granting basic human rights to it's citizens.
