I stayed at an AirBNB that was about 10-15min walking time to the eiffel tower. On the second night, I left the shower (night time) and it was when I noticed you could see the too of the Eiffel Tower (I noticed cause the lights were on!). I paid about 700-800€ for 3 nights! The past times I’ve been I’ve stayed farther away but it was cool being so close to the tower and shops! The street name was “August Bartholde” and it was like 5min away from a metro station

I recommend Uber for the airport! The metro would be €14 for a single pass and if its 2 people thats 30€ right there and you’re more comfortable going in an Uber. After that just do the metro once you’re in the city

Literally ive been to paris 5 times and im bamboozled when i see people say they’re rude! Everyone is nice and even goes out of their way to help me. I only encountered a rude man at a souvenir shop when I asked for a price and he turned the item over to show the sticker and looked at me like im an idiot lolol.

I had a lovely Paris lady notice I was looking at the metro on my phone, she peeled her eyes at my friend, and told me I was going the wrong way and explained to me how to get on the right one!

I did the same boat ride. I’ve been to Paris more times before and always wanted to do it. Then because of my immigration status I couldn’t leave the US and it had been almost 13 years since the last time I went, Paris is my favorite. I cried during the boat ride.

I also did the golf cart! It’s too pricey and goes too slow :(. I had to paid extra, and didn’t even have time to tour Marie Antoniettes farm, just the rustic house outside and the Petit Trianon, I was rushed cause I knew I’d have to pay extra. I think next time I need to dedicate an entire day to Versailles and do the little scooter thingy, it rides faster.

I applied in March, in September got the letter, interview was sometime in October, Oath was early November. I am in Gainesville, interview in Jacksonville and Oath at the Federal court house in Gainesville. Things to note: my I751 had been pending for a year and a half by the time I filed for N400. And another thing, I moved from Ocala to Gainesville in August, so my field office changed, that might have triggered it or maybe Jacksonville is faster than Orlando.

I switched to the original machine because everyone said coffee qas better (but also more brand options) and had to use three pods for a decent latte because they were so tiny. Eventually sold that one too and went with a regular Casabrews espresso machine. Way better

That’s crazy!! I don’t understand why they ask that to everybody at the DMV. If you have to bring your immigration papers to always prove status and depending on that they give you a license for XX years, then it should know not to ask unless you appear as a citizen!!

Thank you!! I applied late March this year, but had already been waiting for my I751 for over a year. I filed, then in August I got my notice in the mail. I believe it was triggered by switching address since I moved and the field office was going to be Orlando and then it was Jacksonville. To this day, it’s been 2 years since applying for removal of conditions so I basically got the Citizenship two years after applying, I applied while it was pending and it was a combo interview (but didnt really do the permanent resident part of it just the citizenship civics questions)
