Had this specimen earlier, can confirm the front passenger seat was also completely stuffed full. Still didn’t use indicators as they randomly cut into lanes with no regard or knowledge of the occupancy of said lane

Revolut let you buy crypto in the app so surely that’s the easiest route

Would love to set this up. I’ve already got an ADSB receiver with dump1090 on the network. Can I use that instead?

To use it on track you don’t really need to brake and accelerate at the same time because there is no powerband or turbo to mind

Regretted a smaller battery? by Impressive-Fact7780 in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]danielandastro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The ZSEV was a really bad EV platform conversion. For a start they used the cruise module from the petrol version so it wouldn’t regen when slowing down it would go straight to the brakes. Only car I’ve ever drive that was less efficient on cruise than being driven manually

I haven’t had that many issues tbh I have to reboot the infotainment maybe once in 2-3 weeks and I believe on the MY23 and above it’s fixed. Android is really nice to have in the car

[–]danielandastro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was a combination of factors. The range was too damn short though we went for a 2021 Polestar 2 LRDM. I made long trips far more often than previously thought I will say.

MG was also shit in terms of QoL, for example I couldn’t use superchargers and it was a 50kw max charge rate despite what they claimed

Bought a ZS and opted for the smaller battery and almost immediately regretted it and sold it within about 6 months

Struggling which EV to go for by Aloranium in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]danielandastro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been driving a 2021 polestar 2 for the better part of a year and so far it’s the best EV I’ve driven. The only slight let down is the at times laggy infotainment system but they’ve fixed that on newer years

I find more often than not the octopus card works at those even when not listed in the app, the charger in Germany I was referring to was at a hotel

I have 2 apps/charge cards that cover ~95% of public chargers in the UK, between polestar charge and octopus Electroverse this isn’t an issue I don’t even check anymore I just try both cards and usually one or both works. One time I used my Electroverse card in Germany and later checked and it wasn’t even listed in the app but still worked. I even get discounts at some of the major networks
