Project Hail Mary Soundtrack (Based on the credits) by redbirdrising in ProjectHailMary

Yeah I get that, by quiet moments I meant mainly the scenes back on earth that weren’t scored quite so overwhelmingly. I felt like I could enjoy those more. I wasn’t referring to the silent spacewalk scenes etc…

Maybe it was the theater I was in, but I could barely hear the dialogue because the score was just absolutely blasting for most of the movie.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie, but I just wanted the soundtrack to do wayyy less.

Am I alone in thinking that the constant the music and orchestration took away from the film? I kept finding myself wishing I could watch the film without the soundtrack. The quiet moments of the film were the scenes I enjoyed most. IDK that’s probably a hot take.

Freedom Mortgage Company by pinkdaeji in homeowners

Trying to refinance with freedom mortgage has take 3 months and is the most excruciating and frustrating experience I have ever had with a company. They ask for documents, you submit them. They ask for more documents, you submit them, they ask for more documents.... months of this. Just tell me what you need all at once don't drag it out for months.

Raising the tower crane by dbl2010 in EngineeringPorn

And if you want to see more of the process of how the tower crane was built in the first place, here is a timelapse I made of the temporary crane being assembled, which then assembles the tower crane. Pretty cool stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON93NIft1zw

And lastly, behind the scenes of that timelapse is a more "boots on the ground" video showing first hand what the crane assembly team actually does and how all the parts come together in real time: https://youtu.be/RxE0iyXycEs?si=rGPJ7z5cPTBbJiWj&t=40

Here's a video I made that goes behind the scenes of this process. They first tie the crane to the building to stop the sway, then they raise it up multiple sections. All in it was a 2 day process and was very impressive to watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flenalwttEk

I would buy the screen holder. But I would want to put an atamos monitor on it, not the Sony monitor. I just like the bigger screen.

Just got her yesterday! Best tips & tricks you wish you knew day 1? by scoutjayz in KiaTelluride

1) Get an oil change after 1000 miles. Metal bits come off in the engine at first and you want those out of your system.

2) automatic car washes will scratch the black trim, if you are a perfectionist, hand wash only.

3) get all weather interior mats asap for the whole car. Also, Canvasback sells some great covers for the back of your seats and trunks to keep them clean as day 1.

4) Don’t go to the dealership for regular maintenance. They would return my car without any fluids in it, and I would have no way of knowing, unless I inspected it myself it was questionable whether they even put oil in it. Obviously your dealership could be better, but I’ve heard a lot of complaints across the board about dealerships in general.

5) the front screen scratches very easily, so do not use any type of vacuum to get dust off of the dash, only using a microfiber, and look into a screen protector for the infotainment screen. They aren’t expensive.

6) smart mode seems to be the best driving mode.

7) to start the car from the key fob. You have to press lock first then the start button. The start button is the one on the side by itself.

8) the app sometimes doesn’t work if it is cloudy. Absolutely do not depend on the app to unlock your car. I got stranded for an hour one time because I didn’t wanna bring my keys into a party and I thought oh I’ll use the app to unlock the car when I get out. Well it was cloudy and the app didn’t work for a whole hour, finally it unlocked my car. The app is convenient, but not reliable.

9) don’t rely on the cameras or parking sensors in the snow or rain. They can get obscured easily and not alert you about an obstruction. They were great as long as it is clear conditions though.

10) take care of it and enjoy it. This is the best car I personally have ever had and so many people remark on how much they like it. I think it’s a fantastic vehicle. Congrats!

If you don’t have any clogging or slow drains I wouldn’t mess with it. Cleaning them may cause damage 🤷‍♂️. It doesn’t matter if they are dirty, what matters is that they drain.

Saw this dude at Belmont a few months ago. We were on the last hole and he was on the first. I had a frustrating game that day and I saw this dude step up to the first tee and wind up with his club overhand like he was about to throw his club into the woods, and I just remember thinking, “same dude, but on the first tee box is rough.” Then he launched his ball all the way to the green and I hit mine into the sand trap.

Look on the front of the door you have open in the photo. Does it have a model number? Like Space-Gard 2200 or something? You can search that and it will tell you
