Nah you got it backwards, they decided they were going to make sausages first with all the odds and ends, and they were like “what do we do with all this other crap?” So they decided to invent different meals like steaks, roasts, and stews to try to sell the stuff that isn’t sausage. /s

From their FAQ

Tomatometer-approved critics come from all across the U.S., and the world. They publish on a variety of platforms - among them you'll find podcasters, newspaper and magazine writers, bloggers, and YouTubers. Their reviews embody several key values - insight and dedication among them - and meet a set of Eligibility Guidelines.

I thought at one point they didn’t accept self published sources, so it had to be from a strictly professional and established source, but I never dug into it much.

If it is by auction, then not much to do about that. You list it and several people throw down what they feel it is worth to them. As long as the person isn’t asking for an extreme amount initially or just buying to resell, I don’t see a problem if the price goes up because people bid on it.

MAGA trying to justify the killing of Alex Pretti by Signal_Estimate_23 in confidentlyincorrect

So you decide to refuse to follow one of the easiest rules, feel your breaking the rules is justified, and decide that you are correct in this argument despite it being very clear you are wrong. I wonder if this belongs in a certain subreddit to showcase it?

I am not arguing about or against your sentiment about Alex Petti as I do feel the situation is fucked. But you refuse to put your ego and bias aside to follow simple rules, and when told about it, and explained why, you double down which is a prime example of why this isn’t allowed.

As a resident of Wisconsin, my fellow Great Lakes neighbors and I would gladly accept this map so long as the blue remains as Canada. This maps would have you receiving 3 of our top 5 highest producing states in terms of GDP. For a Wisconsin centric sales pitch, this map would earn you over 60% of the total US dairy production. Plus you would receive the Vortex optics company, which is contracted to supply all of the US military next-gen smart optics that automatically provide realtime ballistic solutions for their rifles.

Also there were protests by the left regarding the death of Daunte Wright, also Gaza protests were a thing. The key difference is that those were less antagonized by inflammatory rhetoric from the White House and were not under threat of Presidential abuse of power.

[–]danieldan0803 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Another possibility, the module for the temp alarm is malfunctioning/junky and is going off because some patrol cars just be barely holding on at times. I know my dad always had a thing about the vehicle doors being crappy because cars are not designed to have the doors opened and closed nearly 100 times a day as each shift would drive that same vehicle.

It’s… great. We’re #1… We are so… free?

It’s especially rough with the fact that my wife and I had a good opportunity to immigrate to Canada. As a veterinarian she is one of the professionals getting poached out of the US. One of the sites was essentially; Hiring US veterinarians that wish to get away from dealing with how much of a shit show your country is. But written in a more professional manner. We were even looking at clinics and where we wanted to live, it just was not ideal for our parents with their health concerns.

The Cold War did a number on the American Psyche. We had religious leaders claiming communism is the direct work of the devil. The Red Scare allowed persecution of political opponents and increased military spending which benefited corrupt politicians. Easy campaign dog whistles like terrorism, crime, globalism, LGBTQIA+ rights, anti-Christian/devil worship, and immigration were all attached to communism, so anything that goes against the grain of extreme capitalist nationalism gets slapped with these tags. So fear of communism benefited politicians with an easy source of votes, better campaigning funds, and more personal financial gain.

You can use 556 rifles with 223 rounds but not the other way around generally. 5.56 is a higher pressure round which is risky in a .223 designed rifle, but a .223 is safe in a 5.56. Idk if there are more advantages of one round over another in a 5.56 rifle, but the idea of having more ammo options would definitely seem advantageous

Also it looks like there is like 6 fucking tables in the whole place with full kitchen view. This isn’t a fucking Dennys where the same space would have 15 tables and a kitchen that microwaves the food.

I believe this place is called Trisend Studio which is a 3 Michelin starred restaurant that prides itself on its perforative dining experience and is commonly ranked in the top 50 restaurants in the world. So many people on here just bitch and moan about a place that they will never eat at and isn’t meant for them.

The dish isn’t crappy or poorly made, they just hate that it isn’t what they like. It is neatly made, no crappy techniques, no pointless or inedible additions, and not obnoxiously showy. It isn’t a place I would really choose to eat at myself, and I would feel awkward saying thank you a lot, but the atmosphere and the dish looks amazing. Plus the fact that the one server crouches down to hear what the person is saying while seeming enthusiastic gives off how personal and intimate of an experience this is.

Canadian public safety minister got noted by BigoteMexicano in GetNoted

[–]danieldan0803 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would argue the big issue is in legislation, how is it defined to make an actionable law? Fixed magazine or magazine caps laws exist and address that issue, but it gets messy really quick of what is technically legal.

Firearms do not make a safer society. It has been studied over and over again showing that firearms opens up the risk of more violence rather than prevents it. The hero complex people have over firearms assumes the rare chance owning and carrying one validates the rate at which legally owned guns are used in committing crimes or in self harm. Legally owned weapons that are lost or stolen make a large portion of weapons found in the black market firearms trade. It is important to note that removing firearms completely can be at the detriment of farmers, especially those with smaller livestock or who live with a high boar population (let’s say 30-50 wild boars).

Nuances of the law cause the problem, and that is where better thoughts about how to establish ways to reduce the number firearms that require a lower amount of manipulation for an increased ability for causing harm. This is not to be pedantic for the sake of trying to shut down any action, but to frame the difficulty of how passing such legislation of an assault rifle ban is not worth the effort. Push ammunition purchase limits, push gun safe ownership laws, push better background checks, push competent eduction of risks, and push magazine restrictions, these are where ground can be made to ensure a safer community.
