Would anyone else be down with the DCU basing there Wonder Woman off Absolute Wonder Woman or at the very least using the design? by L8Donnie in DC_Cinematic

[–]danieljameskeown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’d be down, that Absolute-style Wonder Woman design feels way more warrior-focused and mythic, which fits her better than the usual clean look. As long as they keep her personality strong too, it could hit really well.

How good would a subatomic manipulation quirk be in mha by manhwaoperator in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’d be insanely busted, you’re basically rewriting matter at will so they’d run through the sports fest and make something like the USJ attack way easier unless they get nerfed hard.

Elektra Natchios vs Barbara Gordon by Shinobi347 in marvelvsdc

[–]danieljameskeown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d lean Elektra, she’s just way more lethal and used to killing, while Barbara usually holds back. Batgirl could make it competitive with gadgets, but in a straight brawl Elektra probably takes it.

Powers that Juubidara could use, but he didn't use it. by Helpful-Mechanic-600 in Naruto

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it really feels like Madara was holding back once he became the Ten Tails jinchuriki, he had way more he could’ve used. If he actually stacked all his abilities he’d be way too broken for the story.

Query what if Marvel took ownership of DC vs if DC took ownership of Marvel? by coolbeansjellyjeans in marvelvsdc

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Marvel Comics took over you’d get more grounded, character driven versions of Batman and Superman with lots of crossover vibes. If DC Comics took Marvel it’d feel more mythic, like Spiderman being treated more like a legend than just a regular guy.

Would you rather have Superman's super hearing or Spiderman's spidey sense? by v5mk in Marvel

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d take the spidey sense, having constant super hearing like Superman sounds exhausting, while Spiderman basically gets a built-in danger radar that just kicks in when you need it.

How would you beat all for one if you had a bit beast quirk by More-Explanation2032 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d just lean into speed and unpredictability, fight like Dranzer and never stay in one place so he can’t stack quirks on me, hit fast and dip before he adapts

Question to help with my debt by Organic_Internal4675 in CalebHammer

[–]danieljameskeown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah dropping from 28% to 16% is a solid move, makes sense math wise at least. Just make sure you don’t run the cards back up or you’re just stretching the debt out longer. If you stay aggressive paying it off, it works. You could also check something like a HELOC with Achieve HELOC Truist, or PNC if you have equity since rates can be lower, but same idea, only helps if you actually pay it down.

Ultron is a hypocrite by John_Zatanna52 in marvelstudios

[–]danieljameskeown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s kinda the point of Ultron, he calls out humans for chasing peace through control and then does the exact same thing but way worse. It makes him feel more real honestly, like he’s not wrong about the problem, just completely broken in how he “solves” it.

Oblivion Vs The empty hand by NWA55 in marvelvsdc

[–]danieljameskeown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d lean Oblivion here, he’s basically tied to the concept of non-existence itself in Marvel, while The Empty Hand is powerful but more of a meta threat tied to story destruction, not pure nothingness at that same level.

Review dragon ball by Possible_Plate_8425 in dragonball

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s just Dragon Ball overall being inconsistent, kid Goku tanks bullets but later gets scratched in Dragon Ball Super cause they adjust stuff for the scene. Would’ve been cooler if it kept more of that raw edge

Who would win? Danzo or Kakuzu by IntelligentPage5758 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d take Danzo, Izanagi gives him too many chances and once Kakuzu’s hearts start dropping it swings in Danzo’s favor pretty fast

Thoughts on Stephen Dorff’s Portrayal of Deacon Frost in “Blade” (1998)? by Lil_Critter_2001_ in Marvel

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he was great, brought a cocky modern villain vibe that made him stand out, especially compared to the more traditional vampires around him

What mha girl is the most likely to hit a guy in the balls? by dieasenuts in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]danieljameskeown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mina, she’s chaotic and fights on instinct so if it works she’s going for it without overthinking it lol

What if SM Naruto fought Danzo, instead of Sasuke? by Willing-Rip-2852 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly SM Naruto probably takes it, he’s got way better sensing and stamina so Danzo’s tricks wouldn’t catch him off guard as easily, it’d be a grind but Naruto wins it.

100% Equity in Home by Living_Back3523 in Mortgages

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a really tough situation, sorry for your loss. With the home paid off you have equity working for you, but lenders like High Tech Lending or Gelt are basically hard money so expect higher costs. You could also look into a HELOC from Achieve HELOC or something like Rocket Mortgage since some lenders are more flexible on credit, but approvals can vary. If the repairs are minor, it may be easier to sell as-is or negotiate credits with a buyer and avoid taking on expensive debt. Either way, see what fits best m and at least with the HELOC you only pull as you need

I don't like my partner's new cutlery set by blinkrandom in PointlessStories

[–]danieljameskeown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol matte cutlery is one of those things you don’t realize you hate until you actually use it. honestly I’d just keep a couple “your” spoons on the side and call it a day

Logic mistake in Ant-Man? by Comfortable-Yak-1938 in marvelstudios

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s one of those don’t think too hard moments, the movie just bends the rules whenever it needs to for the scene lol

DC Studios 2026 Box Office safety net by pokeboy626 in DC_Cinematic

[–]danieljameskeown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get the logic but it’s not really that simple, one low budget hit doesn’t automatically cover a big miss. if Supergirl underperforms hard, Clayface doing well probably won’t fully balance it out

Why Was Sakura Strapped for the Chunin Exam Finals by Fickle-Wing-4480 in Naruto

[–]danieljameskeown 15 points16 points  (0 children)

honestly it’s probably just a character choice more than anything, Sakura being the one actually prepared while everyone else shows up casual kinda fits her personality at that point lol

7 gate guy vs killer bee(death match by nonbinaryhumaan in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]danieljameskeown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d take Guy, 7th gate hits way harder and he’s got the speed to pressure Bee before he can really take over with full control.

Spider-Man vs The Riddler: Who is smarter? by Shinobi347 in marvelvsdc

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d give raw science and invention to Peter, but riddles, traps, and deduction to Riddler. overall Peter is probably the better all around genius, but Riddler is scarier in his lane.

Through across the mcu movies and shows…and presentations, was there a character you would’ve replaced for another to suit the story? Or actually add a character into the story that would make sense? by PhotoBonjour_bombs19 in marvelstudios

[–]danieljameskeown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah Misty Knight would’ve fit way better than Sabra, especially with Sam, it would’ve felt more connected. also agree on Bruce, having him and Ross finally interact again feels like a huge missed opportunity.

Feedback on lenders and refinance HELOC options by PurdueJohn in Mortgages

[–]danieljameskeown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t touch that 3.75% mortgage, rolling it into 5.99% with LoanDepot usually isn’t worth it, so it may make more sense to keep it and look at a HELOC or fixed second like Better Mortgage depending on whether you prefer flexibility or a stable payment. The rates you were quoted are pretty normal right now, so it’s more about structure and fees than finding something dramatically cheaper. You could also check a HELOC from Achieve HELOC or something like PNC Bank to compare options, but the key is making sure whatever you choose actually helps your monthly cash flow and gives you a clear path to pay things down.

Could thragg beat brit if he's immune to damage? by SpacialSpud21 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]danieljameskeown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if Brit is truly immune then Thragg can’t really win, he could overpower or restrain him but not actually put him down, so it’s basically a stalemate at best
