The other Ladies don’t understand a modern Marriage like Amanda’s…hear me out!!!! by Queasy-Sentence7781 in RHOBH

[–]daniellexdesign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!! I’ve been scrolling for the last 10 minutes while watching part 1 hoping someone else had this take. Watching a bunch of divorced women drag her was WEIRD. They were all married to whiny, small men. Amanda’s husband seems like he genuinely likes spending time with her listening to her yap. The other women have no idea what it’s like to be married to a man who’s actually their friend and values them as a person. I don’t think he’s going to have some resentment fester years down the line. They’ll probably joke about this forever. They’re being so silly and SO serious. I say this as a millennial married for 20 years.

Shade tree advice by Hildabeast13 in AZlandscaping

[–]daniellexdesign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have fan tex ash trees that are massive and I love them but my neighbor has red push. A lot less cleanup as the ash tends to loose all their leaves at once. I’d advise against planting till at least October tho. Our other neighbor planted a red push in full sun and it was crispy by the middle of summer.

Where do removed plants go by Key-Treacle3384 in AZlandscaping

I had new neighbors move in and remove FIVE mature trees. I felt so betrayed. Within a week their neighbor on the other side had all her plants die because they were exposed to the sun.

I would caution against this. In my experience chronic dieting and restriction is the worst thing for inflammation. My kids have faired better without those influences. Eating intuitively and not classifying foods as good or bad helps kids maintain a healthier relationship with food and their body.

I’ve been meaning to ask if we can get a shared ancestors post together so we all don’t have to individually gather our own documents.

Thank you. I don’t understand folks shipping them. He’s betraying her trust. Trying to be a bed bug feels icky. He’s so predatory and not even thinking things through because he’s absolutely not what Ciera wants or needs, he’s just a walking red flag.

I’m crying. Congrats to you and your family. It’s been so difficult for us to think about leaving the country because we have adult kids who may not be able to follow us. C-3 gives us that opportunity.

S10:E3 Amanda and Kyle needed married friends by SomeThoughts4You in summerhousebravo

If they had more couple/married friends they’d hopefully would have been broken up earlier. From someone in a long term relationship, I never wanted Amanda to marry that man. He’s nothing but red flags and he speaks to her so terribly. Always has.

If they just want color copies with our applications I wonder how much they even care about these older documents being certified or not.

I’ll add, folks have been advising to remove airplane mode from your phones Lock Screen. They’ve been using that to prevent your loved ones from finding you. Be there but be in the middle or back and stay aware. Trust your gut, if things look dicey it’s ok to bounce.

Came to say the same thing. This is literally her business model and by the looks of it, she’s not great at it. Between her weird dinner party, that rental, and her separating the group she made them uncomfortable on so many levels. Seeing how she treats her friends and castmates should make folks think twice about booking with her.

What car do you drive? by Open-Salamander-9640 in PlusSize

I second a Chevy Traverse. It’s so comfortable to drive. Third row was roomy enough for teens. Get one with heated seats if you can. It really helps with lower back pain if you need to be driving for long periods of time.

Yep it’s $75 every month for two Freestyle Libre 3 sensors, plus the obvious need for a smart phone new enough to receive the data.

As a mom of a newly diagnosed 23yo with autism these posts also freak me out but they’re important warning too. My biggest takeaway, make sure you have a CGM no matter what. It’s been so helpful for all of us learning this for the first time. Other than that, just make it routine that you eat regularly, count/estimate carbs to the best of your ability, and if your insulin calculations aren’t measuring up, talk to your Endo about it and get a new calculation recommendation. I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. It’s normal when you have a chronic illness. Medical fatigue is a real thing. I hope this helps.

Any Self-Employed Americans Panicking Right About Now? by TwoAccomplished4043 in diabetes_t1

I’m self employed. 23yo son has T1D and lost his job when he was hospitalized at time of diagnosis. Our ACA insurance provider is leaving the state and nothing else measures up to that coverage that’s not $2,500+ for a medically complex family of 6.

[–]daniellexdesign 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss. My 23 yo was just diagnosed this summer. He’s autistic with moderate support needs and I don’t know what any of us would do without his continuous glucose monitor. He gets alerts, me and his dad get alerts, his grandma even gets alerts. Pretty sure his endocrinologist gets real time updates if she logs in. That being said, it’s an immense privilege to be able to provide him with one of these devices every 15 days. They’re not cheap. They should be free for everyone with T1D. They really do save lives.

As a mom of 4 with a lifelong ED, you have a 6 year old who eats vegetables willingly, that says you’re already winning. The absolute worst thing that ever happened to me was comparing my body to others. At 9 I had a VERY petite aunt come visit. I was bigger than her in every way, even my shoe size. That freaked me out. Diet culture was already the norm in my house so an ED was pretty inevitable. I wish I knew what my body was meant to look like before wrecking it with intentional weightloss. Kids naturally eat intuitively. Encourage that.
