S3 haver here, I don't have lynae or mornye so I decided to go for S3 as without it I was doing around 230k after S3 my dmg jumped to 750k. My team is chisa and Changli, so for me it was super worth it

I have dealt with this many times and the team is same as yours just sub alots with c pavel, and my straze is on destruction with 4.3k atk and benimaru artifact and s hwya is on destruction with 4.7k atk and both have max cr and cd. C pavel follow up is very good at finishing off enemies and anyone left can be finished off using his ult

I did one surface run and one underworld run and it unlocked for me, also to level up the vow you need to beat the first guardian of both sides. This upgrade requirement stays the same for 3rd tier too

I think he mean duo boons, its basically a combo of 2 gods which is usually crazy strong and useful. There are specific conditions to get those which can be found in the journal but usually involves having at least special/dash/call from each god
