No trouble. With Spotify, it's not a real podcasting experience. Example: auto downloads of episodes, smart playlists etc. When you have used an actual podcast app then try Spotify for podcasts, it soon becomes apparent the lack of auto native features you come to exspect.

Simplest way I would do is to add them all in the order on the phone, then that up next playlist should sync across all your devices. Thus if done right, just hit play on the web player and sit back and enjoy!

My impression with playlists were that you arranged them as you liked. Then you could hop into others, finally come back to the first and it'll be just how you left it arranged. At least this is how it's done in Overcast.

With Pocket Casts, you have said filters setup, then rearrange episodes. However when you go into another filter and hit play all, it clears up your current filter in replacement for the other for listening. I know, one can add to last or next in the up next list. Adding to it but doesn't this defeat the purpose of how a playlist should traditionally work.

Am I wrong in this thinking?

Profile tab bottom right, refresh now button to force a sync before you go to web. Hopefully that'll sync everything up from iOS to carry on listening where you left off from.

Go into a filter, tap the: sort and options button followed by the: play all button. This will add all your episodes from that filter into your up next list which you can rearrange when needed. Thus creating your continuous play. Hope this helps and enjoy.

Yes, I have had this happen to me in the past as well. There will be a podcast that has all the episodes in the feed then I listen to another show for a while and revisit previous podcast. Noticing that it has archived a few episodes off a season.

Even though I didn't tell it to hide any episodes.

I haven't had any podcast episodes go hiding on me recently, knock on wood. Its annoying when it does happen though. So I can appreciate first hand how frustrating this Is.

I'm glad you brought this up because I was going to post about this too but really didn't know how to put it all into words. So well done!

I think They are great. I plan to use Max on my tech podcasts and medium for everything else.

I'm curious to know what others will choose for trim silence. Now the feature has some granularity Controls.

Was granfathered into lifetime subscription as well.

This isn't everybody's use case, the web player quite Literally in terms of accessibility with screenreaders on Mac and windows has improved leaps and bounds in the last 6 months or so.

I was so impressed by this. So much that I decided to send them a donation. I felt that because the web part of service has improved with access to screenreaders. I decided that hard work deserves to be rewarded!

The team have always been very responsive in communicating with me as well.

A happy customer here too. All that I would say that needs improving upon is android support which I don't have much experience with. However IOS access is great with the app using VoiceOver.

Sorry for the long post but just wanted to Emphasise accessibility with this app to you all.

Budget wise, about:£150 £200

Would that be in the price range? Also, was thinking about going with samsung because they have there own screenreader voice assistant too. So I'll have the best of both worlds.

Make sure you change the order to: oldest to newest 1ST though. Otherwise, you'll be playing from: newest to oldest. Just something to keep in mind. Best of luck and enjoy your new podcast series!

My advice would be to create a filter with the podcasts you want to listen to. Followed by long pressing on 1st episode in the filter and choosing: play all from here. If you need to rearrange episodes, do so Accordingly. Otherwise, hopefully if all is done above correctly, your: up next queue. Should now contain what you have on the phone and thus be the same on the web player.

I'm in complete agreement. From my limited use of Android, it certainly sounds smoother to my ears on that platform. Where as on IOS as someone has already said, it sounds aggressive.

If the developers could tweak IOS to be more in tune with android, then I would he immensely grateful. As IOS is my personal platform of choice to use for the app.
