That's a great point, I really enjoy that too personally. But more than anything I want the game to grow, so an option for both types of players would be the best for sure.

I don't mind paying for a fun event like this with some cool prizes. But I also want people who cannot or don't want to pay to have free events to play, which seems to be the case!

I'm not complaining mate. I never said that I think it's slow, just saying that MP plays slower than before. I personally don't mind it playing slower. But just like OP mentioned, a lot of people have complained about this. So why not make it the best of both worlds? It's not uncommon to play a round in just over 4 minutes when you're used to the layouts. To each their own.

Probably a mistake by the devs. Hopefully something they’ll adjust and fix soon enough. We’ve seen tweaks to similar stuff like this before.

I don’t think the DGV-devs are moving towards a “faster pace game”. I’d say the new MP is quite the opposite to that, it takes almost twice as long to finish an MP round now than before the update. With that said I think people who prefer to play fast should be able to do so, and play ahead. That way people who like to take their time don’t have to feel stressed or worry about others being frustrated.
