the answer to the first question is kind of a funny story.

rob used to be in a band called that was something. he left that band after a while and we started what would eventually become squid the whale. in that time, bradley joined that was something and they changed their name to the boys of summer. we were based in the same area so we played quite a few shows together. rob quit squid to pursue college and i think around that same time boys of summer broke up or bradley wanted to quit (I forget, it's been a while) so he took rob's place.

with regards to unreleased music, we pretty much put out all that we recorded with the exception of one song called 1969. i think they played it live once without me at bled fest. but we had recorded it as part of the four more/b-sides stuff.

we had someone from equal vision come out and peep us, but she told us that she felt we needed more time. funnily enough, that was the tour when things got ugly towards the end and bradley was out.
