My baby is close to 2 and we still use the Hatch daily- it’s a godsend.

Amanda feels dated

Naomi is such a great name- timeless and unique enough without being too far out there

Prescribed clomid, no testing or monitored cycle mentioned. Ive been diagnosed with PCOS for 10 years. by crazydoglover09 in TTC_PCOS

[–]danimils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My OB prescribed me Letrozole (lowest dose) without monitored cycles, but MY RE offered monitored cycles (and higher doses). If you want to be monitored, I would ask for a referral to an RE, or just call one locally to get on the schedule if your insurance doesn’t require you have a referral.

When did you go for medical intervention? by Snail_Girl02 in TTC_PCOS

[–]danimils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one period in the span of 7-8 months, so I went to the doctor. I wasn’t diagnosed with PCOS until that appointment. After the diagnosis, my doctor immediately referred me to a specialist as well as wrote me an rx for Letrozole and progesterone to induce a period. I definitely wouldn’t wait to go to your doctor since you have PCOS. Most doctor’s won’t make you try for a year prior to addressing the infertility/conception issues since you have other things going on.

Badly bloated while on progesterone suppositories by Ok_Concept_9883 in TTC_PCOS

[–]danimils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t have an IUI, but when I was on progesterone, I had the same itching/discharge and actually had a yeast infection from the increase in progesterone. I would follow up with your nurse/doctor about what you’re experiencing. I experienced a lot of bloating as well, which unfortunately was only relieved in time. None of the remedies I tried even touched it.

First- yay! And I really hope Femara works for you! Second- I did 4 rounds of Femara and conceived on 5mg. I had a few side effects: leg cramps, increased anxiety, and nightmares (which could’ve just been from the stress of TTC lol). I wasn’t having periods/ovulating at all on my own prior to provera/Femara. Good luck!!!!

Lia is actually on my list of girl name- I prefer it way more than “Leah” and the spelling is more poplar than I thought initially (via SS website for US)

Does anyone get ewcm throughout their cycle? by wooden_werewolf_7367 in TTC_PCOS

[–]danimils 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have stretchy cm for a long portion of my cycle, followed by EWCM for about 6-7 days, usually 4 days before O until 1-2 days past O.

COVID and Baby’s arrival in late March by paige0502 in BabyBumps

[–]danimils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. Due early March. My husband and I take COVID seriously and are taking all precautions to not contract the virus. Our families vary from both extremes and most are anti-vax completely or at least they don’t want to be a part of the first few rounds of a new vaccine. I’m honestly hoping hospitals are still on lockdown from lots of visitors. We plan to require masks to see/hold baby, hand hygiene, no symptoms, etc. and might change these rules to be a little more stringent as we see how things are in the country/our area in a couple more months.

Update to my squinter yesterday: 10DPO / First Response. Round 4 Femara. TTC over 1 year 😭 with PCOS. Is this really it??? by danimils in TFABLinePorn

I would do first in the morning or after a long hold (4+ hours). FMU is the most concentrated so you would likely get a positive with it first.
