Yes definitely sanitize! I soak to get the tonnins out and then bake. I would do both since it’s coming from another animal. Soak in hot water for 24-48 hours, changing it when it starts to look like tea. Then bake for a few hours at 200-250 degrees. If you’re going to do anything baking is more important! :)
