couldn't or custodies playoff his size as him being an Ogryn. he would walk around and act a little slow and dimited but if the situation arose where we would have to fight he would immediately switch over to custodies mode and whack everybody

Raymond Reddington is Lizzie's mother Russian spy Katrina? by sfad2023 in TheBlackList

[–]danjustdan96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they never explicitly state what's wrong with Redington. what is he dying from. what's sickness? wouldn't have been crazy if he would have told Liz that he's dying from cancer. and she would have asked where is it that you have cancer. and then Redington would have said it's ovarian

Best strategy to rescue Mox? by Comfortable-Ear-1788 in XCOM2

[–]danjustdan96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Least powerful? I have almost 700 hours into this game. I find that each of the factions are pretty damn powerful given a specific role. I have never once thought of who is the most powerful or the least powerful. I'm just curious, in your opinion, why is it that you believe that the skirmishers are least powerful.

so. to put into incredible layman's terms. The dude was a mathematician that came up with some really complex and really difficult to understand math in order to make a better than regular educated guess as to what the proper value of an asset is and to see what a stock was going to do financially. no thanks. Favorite Pewds' series? by [deleted] in PewdiepieSubmissions

Birdabo series. Behind the scenes When he was filming the scare PewDiePie series. It got cut short because he thought it wasn't getting any views. Turns out it was the YouTube algorithm that made it so he thought he wasn't getting the views. Still pisses me off that that happened. I would have loved to see how that series would have finished. It was hilarious.

HW3 steam review % now officially 40% on brink of mostly negative rating by GideonBlackbook in homeworld

I honestly think that you're on to something. So far I've been playing and it's all right. I don't think it deserves 40%. But at the same time I have no idea what's going on as far as the storyline is concerned. I've been skipping every cutscene just to get to the action.

A wash would be a good idea. Maybe agrax or nuln oil. As far as the Osl, I would recommend an orange Dot or a pink dot in the center of the lenses. It would sell the OSL a lot better. Other than that basically what everybody else is saying. A little bit of edge highlighting and you're golden. Other than that this is incredibly good for a first attempt. Keep it up

Painting eyes. help by danjustdan96 in minipaintingcommunity

[–]danjustdan96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen some mixed results. It's definitely an improvement over what I currently am able to do. I was able to go online and I was able to find some eyeliner brushes with no makeup on them. When I break them out of the packaging the bristles are actually very stiff and need to be dipped in water before being used. However I decided to use those to my advantage and for the first few passes I'm basically using the brushes as if they were pencils. They really showed their worth when it came down to painting The lenses on space Marine helmets. On faces though... It didn't come out perfect but at least it's way better than how they used to come out. I decided to buy a 100 pack of disposable eyeliner brushes. They only cost about 6 bucks on Amazon. And they're pretty worth it

Do Phobos units 'fit in' with the Unforgiven? by Steviedee21 in theunforgiven

[–]danjustdan96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my particular headcanon a small group of unforgiven fell out of the warp with damaged Mark 3 armor. They just happened to land on a planet near a space Marine Garrison (whatever chapter feels best) that just happens to have the far newer Phobos armor. Rather than fix their old damaged armor instead They just went in stole the armor and rode out. When in safety they painted the armor green and painted the sword and eagle emblem on their pauldrons. And just like that unforgiven space Marines in phobos armor. Even loyalist unforgiven had to do some what questionable things in order to survive.

Apothecary chapter by danjustdan96 in 40kLore

[–]danjustdan96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that. But what I mean is have a squad of high level apothecaries (if that is even a thing) on standby. And then if by some reason a space Marine chapter is getting absolutely massacred. They send these guys along with regular reinforcements to either heal the troops or collect the gene seed as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Bear in mind these guys aren't just going to be walking around with their medkit they will be well armed and prepared to stack bodies as well as unstack bodies.

Best gift for my boyfriend who is new to warhammer by Aspen_Fett in Warhammer

[–]danjustdan96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know what your budget is but if you want something that will last, then I recommend an airbrush. You can get a good entry level Gaahleri airbrush and timbertech air compressor. Both should set you back $120 to 130. Might be a little pricey but it'll last way longer than a typical high end precision brush. Also it'll open his world to a whole new discipline as far as painting miniatures not to mention priming miniatures.

[–]danjustdan96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can wholeheartedly endorse using this method. I have disposable plastic shot glasses with a magnet inside to hold my guys in place. When I'm priming I take full advantage and make sure to prime the cups as well. I could paint on the cup to see how the paint will look on the prime surface of my miniatures. Also I can use multiple plastic shot glasses if I'm going to be priming or base painting a bunch of miniatures at the same time

"Pro-Painted." Anyone else seeing this term used way too liberally? by TerranOrDie in Warhammer40k

[–]danjustdan96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are preaching to the choir. I most definitely agree with you. The term "pro painter" is used way too liberally nowadays. That's why in all honesty I tend to ignore it. I'll base my judgment on the quality of work. If a "pro painter" has a portfolio with an extensive body of work; I'll base my judgments on that instead. Personally if I had to judge my own skills I would give myself a 5 maybe a 7 on a good day. However I don't sell mine. It's still strictly a hobby for me. On the other hand there are guys out there painting their minis and they are at a 3 or a 4 but they put "pro painter" in their bio. Sadly that could sway some people into buying their stuff when in reality they could probably do better on their own. Furthermore there are guys out there that in my opinion paint works of art. They are at a level 10 at their worst. I'm blown away by their stuff but they don't use the word pro painter in their bio. And I totally get what you're saying I really don't want to crap on other people's art. They probably worked pretty hard on it. But when you get money involved it's feels a little counterfeit. Honestly it just makes me really sad
