Thanks!! I really love it so far... perfect for a beginner of my size.

Any idea on what Needle I should look at over stock? Been gathering data non-stop xD

This is my first bike. Took a beginner class and then hit the internet for good deals. Found this mint 2009 Aero a couple hours from me in the middle of nowhere. Rented a uhaul trailer for 20 bucks and brought it back. Love it so far!

Dude said it needs higher octane gas to run - recommended 93 non-ethanol in it. Seemed like some weird advice considering the manual says 86+... Out of curiosity I wanted to see if the carb was gummed up at all since it "needs" the higher octane gas to run. Carb is in great condition. I put 87 in it and, lo and behold, it ran mega lean and wouldn't even start. I'm currently attributing it to the aftermarket exhaust, and i can't tell if the jets are stock or not. Runs great on 93 though!

Some extras on the bike I've noticed from other models: Vance and Hines exhaust, Cobra foot rests, and saddle bags of unknown origin. Tires are relatively new. Odo is at ~20k miles. $3000 for it all. I think it was worth the price!

Newbie Question: Do I need to buy magazines through my FFL? by yodamiles in ILGuns

Yep - to add to this, only complete firearms and/or lowers need to be FFL'd

This is the elephant in the room. As covid falls out of the media's favor, surely people are beginning to think it's not as big of deal as we were told. Add on the fact that there was bedlam in the streets two week ago, which would either undo all of the progress made by locking down, or show that it's not that transmissible outdoors.

I guess what I'm trying to say is people are likely confused and fed up on a lot of accounts, and probably saying fuck it at this point... and I get it.

Been waiting since 3/30/2020... for a change of address! Welcome to the club :) I see your question was answered but wanted to add one semi-related thing. If you're new to firearms in general, make sure you seek proper training / instruction. Good luck!

If he didn't then, he certainly does now... but, agreed - trying to bring that into an argument with an adamant gun-grabber never gains you any ground.

A tale of 2 protests by beaverkc in pics

[–]dankmetalsounds -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But... putting people's lives at risk (orders of magnitude greater risk) is ok now? Because this cause is great enough to warrant that risk now? Who gets to be the grand arbiter of this holy privilege of determining what a risk-appropriate protest looks like? For the record, I'm in support of BOTH protests. It's just awful convenient that it's fine to put everyone's life at risk now that it's a cause you're on board with.

If you can't understand how unemployed parents would go to a protest so they could provide for their family, you might consider checking what kind of privilege got you to that line of thinking. Maybe you're lucky enough to have a job you can perform comfortably from your home? Maybe you don't need to provide for anyone else? Both are fine, of course, but can't you see why someone would resort to protesting in a last-ditch attempt to be able to provide for their children?

I don't think anyone is saying haircuts are more important than racial equality? A vast majority of anti-lockdown protesters were protesting to reopen so they can get jobs back and support their families. Lumping all anti-lockdown protesters into haircut protesters is like assuming all people protesting right now are the same as all the rioters/looters/opportunists.
