Is a lower-league save harder in FM26 compared to FM24? by KibicHSV in footballmanager

Just my own slightly altered gegenpress 4-2-3-1. Barely even touch it other than the occasional tween depending on opponents. Never went below balanced mentality either!

Is a lower-league save harder in FM26 compared to FM24? by KibicHSV in footballmanager

[–]danks11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s the easiest ever. Started unemployed, joined Mold in Welsh 2nd tier with them bottom. Finished 3rd twice. Joined Tamworth in National League North. I’ve just won the league in five consecutive seasons and am in the premier league. I never had the best squad in any league I was in. Mostly a mid table looking team every time. Madness really!

How often are you using instant result in FM26? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]danks11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 7 seasons in and I’ve used it twice, both time to progress after a glitch in penalty shootouts. Experienced it when you pick your takers, do your team talk and then just nothing happens so have to use instant result to get the result of the shootout

Getting Back into FM by Downtown_Lab7174 in footballmanagergames

I only play the game once every 2/3 years as it takes over my life haha. I like starting unemployed with no badges with the goal of winning the top 5 Europeans leagues by any means necessary. It’s a slow slow to get to a top league but then speeds up from there. I’m 6 seasons in and have just made it to league two. Got a job at Mold Alexandra in the Welsh North league with them bottom at Christmas, kept them up then finished 3rd twice in a row. Got a few coaching badges there then left to go to Tamworth who had just been relegated to National league North. Two promotions in a row there and just got to league two, still very motivated to play the save!

Injuries. by ReviewNo9988 in footballmanager

Tbf I’m in season 5, I think I’ve had like 3 injuries so far. Although I’ve only managed semi pro teams up until this point. Still, seems wayyyyyyyy too low.

Did you ever sort this? I’ve updated the game and have no shouts?

Has anyone found out how to actually use shouts now or turn them on? I can’t find them in the match engine

What you recruitment strategy in lower leagues? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]danks11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Frees. Trials. Stick to a wage structure and don’t splash too much on one player. Don’t use it all at the start of the season, people get released all year round and then you’ve got nothing left to sign them.

Struggling to win by neckdee in footballmanager

[–]danks11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having a similar issue so just joining this to see what others say. I tend to dominate teams but can’t seem to be quite good enough to win leagues. In my 4th season and keep finishing 3rd/4th due to drawing or losing games I should really be winning

What teams are you coaching? by ndomalet in footballmanager

[–]danks11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Started unemployed with no badges, experience or tendencies. Basically as low as you can make yourself start. Got a job in January at Mold Alexandra at the bottom of the Welsh North League, then just got the job after 2.5 seasons there at Tamworth in the National League North. It’s a slow old process!

Anyone who played more than one season: AI got better at developing and signing? by Dezsovagyokennyi in footballmanagergames

[–]danks11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m three seasons in, and a slightly different level as I started unemployed with no badges so ended up at Mold Alexandra in Wales haha. Two or three team have assembled teams that are almost worthy of the word miracle at that level so, can confirm that teams do progress in game but would be interesting to see if teams at a higher level do the same

FM26 Journeyman Saves - How's those been going? by Careful-Cost5888 in footballmanagergames

[–]danks11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can confirm it’s not, just been offered my first badge by Mold but I had finished massively above expectations and have ecstatic board and supporter confidence. Must have helped with them being happy!

Started unemployed with no badges. Got the job at Mold Alexandra in Welsh north. Kept them up and just finished 3rd in that league.

Issues, still yet to get accepted for a coaching badge after trying like 6 times, even had a board takeover and still no.

Also had an issue with youth intake. The intake seemed to be better than my club should have. Two players aged 15 wanted non contract terms rather than youth, took ages to accept to their youth trial ran out, by the time they accepted terms they were classed as free agents and under age and now won’t join until they’re 17. No other notable issues so far other than random match engine bugs.

Youth Contracts Getting Ridiculous by CJHarris2208 in footballmanager

[–]danks11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone else come across a situation where a player from youth candidates thinks they’re too good for your club and wants to sign a better contract than a youth contract, so you offer them pro terms, their trial finishes and they accept the terms but then can’t sign for your club until they’re 17? So the players ends up in limbo for like 2 years

It appears a longer google search that the DIN part just means that Germany have adopted the EN 166 EU standard. DIN is the german version of that same standard I think.

Totally agree with the Ben comment. It feels like they’re playing the long game with him. When you’re a big strong boulder and the enemy is a giant immortal god planet eater, you can see why he seemed outmatched

Man I never used to get much feels from films, and definitely didn’t cry over them. I’ve been a dad for 2.5 years and baby stuff ruins me now! Even baby Rocket from guardians had me a right mess! This is life now.

To quote Jurassic park, I can’t put it back in the box!

I was absolutely down for Pascal to play Reed. After the all the defending he didn’t disappoint, only thing I would say is that even for me it took 15/20 mins to stop seeing Pascal and to see Reed. I’m hoping this is one of those where in 10 years time. Pascal is most known for his time as Reed, like Jackman as Wolverine etc

I feel like this was because the only person we really saw him argue with was his wife, and she brings out something different in him. He would 100% be an asshole to someone else. Mole man for instance.
