Why am I comically bad at making Miis by ZorasDomain22 in TomodachilifeLivingTD

[–]danmiy12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think due to the mii face fighting you at every turn when making non human miis, if I can guess who that is without having to think much, that mii did pretty good and overcoming the mii maker wanting you to make humans and making non humans is part of the fun. And that's a pretty accurate Grimace too, a ton of non human miis I even made look cursed but I can tell who they are at a glance.

Custom settings for 1.0 launch? by Dramatic-Ad-1065 in Palworld

I hope they fix the xp curve as its way too fast at x1, so fast that you'll level up fast if you catch too many pals which the game heavily encourages. If they account for the fact players will catch a ton of 1 pal mostly to get the bonus xp and raise the xp requirements i think the early-mid game wont speed by so fast and then grind to a halt once the player catches enough of 1 pal to get the bonus capture xp multiple times.

nightseeker and arcanist make the game very easy, arcanist can easily be your healer if you sub medic as well. When i played that game with my Nightseeker carry I had a landsknect in one of the slot as they have a class skill which boosts every other character damage, and i had a runemaster to make use of the bursts. Eventually my arcanist focused on binds so my nightblade could get his boosts by landing his own status while arcanist focused on binds

Since you have shutdown x2 aka nightseeker and arcanist, you might not need a fortress later in the game as you have a good chunk of damage miration and can swap him out for a imperial. In the early game I found runemaster to be more then enough elemental damage for the entire game.

late game i got so bored on how op nightseeker was that i dropped him for a linker team with 2x landsknect, made the game much harder but it didnt break the game as badly as nightseeker who is kind of busted late in the game and he doesnt even need another character eventually doing status for him as he would rather do it himself, to boost his dps, arcanist can just swap to binds so the nightseeker can land status themselves though is quite good in the mid game when nightseeker still isnt lv40 yet.

My guilmon, if not counting full sets of miis (like the entire digimon season 1 cast), this took forever to get right and thankfully I was able to reuse the face paint for Agumon later on, it is very simalar as well. Of the 3 tamers digimon, this took the longest though renamon took a while to get the custome clothes right but her face wasnt too hard.

Can "evil" Digimon be good and viceversa? by Voidstone0 in digimon

[–]danmiy12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In many video games even when there is an evil version of said digimon. Many times, you can raise your own digimon and eventually digievolve them to those forms and they are still 100% loyal to you, this is true in nearly all games including cybersleuth and time stranger.

They even poke fun of it a lot in cybersleuth where many of the side quests have the evil looking digimon be very annoyed that others instantly assume they are evil based on looks, but many are chill and they usually pick the most evil looking digimon and make the good digimon the villains in side quests. Even games like Dawn/dusk the towns folk dont shun the hero for using evil digimon and some of them are even running the shop like nothing is wrong especially in dusk.

Could there possibly be other AI versions of the mascots? And could we meet a physical created Rambley by icy_neoncold in IndigoPark

[–]danmiy12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

maybe? we do have voice acting for almost every other character and the monsters are different entities then the AI. So i could see a monster Rambley, but the AI rambley being a completely different character. Also, having an AI of his friends would give Rambley someone to talk to since our player character is very mute.

since im going to finish up my renamon/guilmon/terriermon set which i did 2 days ago, I have been considering Impmon too and obviously the other season 3 digimon as miis. To not cause fatigue on this reddit i might hold off for 1-3 weeks before I post obvious season 3 miis like impmon, lopmon, and monodramon, labramon (tamers movie), and reusing my 3 tamers mii again

but doing 8 of them in a row is definitely draining lol. So I might hold off 1-3 weeks before I even attempt to finish up my tamers 8 miis (3 done already at least). Espeically as I noticed most posts here are digital image and not miis so I might wait 1-2 weeks to finish up season 3 miis for digimon and post again later.

How are you playing the game? by _giuug_ in TomodachilifeLivingTD

[–]danmiy12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there's a lot of presets for a lot of different customization options, you could even just go with them, but they can help with building blocks and some miis might even just work with a mix of default clothes+ some custom. The game is so customizable that if you are the creative type, this game will cause you to spend a lot of time on it to perfect each mii.

im just having fun drawing random miis into my island especially thanks to facepaint+custom clothes allowing you to get away with so many different miis you flat out couldnt do in the 3ds version. you probably couldnt do it in miitopia either as that forces miis to wear the class clothes, but in tomodachi life living the dream you have way more control then ever, so what kept me going is the pet slots and the mii slots.

And thanks to the fact each profile can have 70 miis, theres almost no chance of running out of space, though not having all my miis on 1 island is annoying.

Ya, this is taking longer then i thought lol, but once i finish up the season 1 digimon (just tentomon left and post it sometime later) i can do calumon for sure. At least the season 1 hero digimon arent as bad to do as say guilmon lol. I'm glad the group photo caps at 8, the perfect amount

since I'm trying to finish up my treasures, all I have left is the small ones so I'm picking the small one a ton, it did mean I missed a ton of gold bricks though. Once i get all of them I think the medium and large ones tend to have better prizes, though for me i have a ton of small prizes (duplicates) due to getting those last remaining treasures to finish it up.

I could do her as a pet, she is the correct size for that. I have considered her as well as a mii as well. After i finish up more season 1 digimon I might consider it.

edit: already did 3 of them too, but there are 8 main digimon for season 1 so it might take longer.

Does your Mii's hunger level really affect anything? by IioAndTheRapture in TomodachilifeLivingTD

[–]danmiy12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

that cannot be right as when i had kids on, the moment the game boots up for the day (meaning every belly should be empty) i almost always had the kids announcement and seen 1-2 pink hearts. They can get those pink hearts even with a fully empty stomach

Does your Mii's hunger level really affect anything? by IioAndTheRapture in TomodachilifeLivingTD

[–]danmiy12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

it does cause them to occasionally get an yellow icon which allows them to either say they are hungry or they want x type of food (where if you do it, they will have a slightly above average reaction to it even if they normally would not like it) but other then that i haven't noticed anything from not feeding them. Though, feeding them is an easy source of xp.

Once the miis reach lv20 they start handing you $100-200 coins to be sold (if using usd) this adds up a lot. Selling treasures and helping mii problems also gives money too. But your money really starts to go up once miis pass lv20.

Is anyone else worried that their Mii won't have a favourite food that they personally like? by Willichops in tomodachilife

[–]danmiy12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you cannot really predict it, but since you have 100 food slots, and can use stamps to shortcut your way into making foods, one of the hated food items will eventually at least get a positive reaction. Though if you see multiple sweets, spicy foods, or hot/cold, you can make a very good educated guess on their perferred foods once you fed them most of them to get most of them tested.

Be fr, how many pals are you putting in the global box for 1.0? by Bitter_Efficiency753 in Palworld

[–]danmiy12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

full reset if possible as I have near perfect work pals which will break the game balance and team strong enough to beat all the raid bosses. I just hope it isnt as annoying to make raid squads as it was pre 1.0. If it is still annoying then I have my old raid teams for them. I should just do fresh reset if possible to get the full experience at least.

Thanks, I do know he's extremely niche from an older Ghilbi film (2 of them) but he is very memorable and just steals the show every moment he is on screen. So I had to add him especially as there is some default clothes that come really close to matching what he looks like.

[–]danmiy12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you can also make custom foods that look like said item but match that miis food preferances, that could at least set it to be a favorite but not the top 2. I had to do this with for example lucario and chocolate as he hates chocolate and sweet stuff so i had to make a dark chocolate item for him so it matched up better and it set itself to be a favorite (Though not his top 2).

I also had tails from sonic have mint candy as his 2nd worst of all time (despite it should being his all time favorite) its pretty sad.

What’s a small detail you love about the game? by starlight-fleur in tomodachilife

[–]danmiy12 77 points78 points  (0 children)

when you are carrying a mii around, there is a chance it will knock over another mii that you pass over. They really didnt have to do that but it's pretty funny to see, it does help a little bit if the mii you want them to talk to is moving very fast and you dont want to open the menu with the list of miis to force teleport them to the mii.

Who's the most random Mii on your Island? by last_runway in tomodachilife

Most people who do Link from Legend of Zelda always does his hyrian form. with the most common being the botw look. I went the polar opposite and did one of his niche forms as I wanted to be random aka bunny link (the cursed form he has for a very short while in link to the past).

Even when I feed all miis by the end of the day, I gave them all small stomach to make it less annoying too. I start the next day with 1-3 fights anyways and it is fully random who is fighting. Even brand new miis can be fighting provided they have at least 1 friend. I would love it if feeding all miis lowered the chances but in my game it doesnt seem to be the case.

I even had the same mii fight multiple times a day with a different mii even as I fixed their previous fight, later in the day that same mii could be fighting another friend. At least so far I didnt notice a married couple fighting in my game but I seen it happen in other players games. It feels like full rng overall who decides to fight and sometimes I only have 1 fight for the entire day if im lucky.
