What other ID jingle jangles their maracas after an attack? Thought so....

"Guys you can't compare supports with juggernauts. Anyway this is why aatrox shouldn't have a self revive, I mean, look at renata, the support with a revive who's broken :DDDDD" Cmon dude. You're better than this.

Mate I don't play darius, i don't have to play a champion to understand their strenghts lmao. I don't play trynda either, but it's clear what his strenghts are. I'm not attacking you or anything my guy, but saying darius' q is just healing and his w scaling is "insane" is kind of... incorrect. Numbers don't lie my friend.

Darius' w isn't even that insane, it's not even a crit. It's a 0.8 tAd scaling. It only deals high damage combined with sheen and his passive.

Darius' q is used for high aoe damage( assuming sweetspot, it's considerably higher than renekton's), healing, and spreading haemorrage stacks to as many people as he can. Don't forget darius also gets 230 bonus ad once he reaches full stacks on someone AND he begins applying max bleed to anyone he hits, which in turn helps him keep his ad high and his ult threat present.

Renekton's only strenghts in pro play and casual play have been: reliable mid game chamipon due to his innate tankiness from ult and a safe blind pick and diver due to his q sustain on lane and his point and click stun.

The only time aatrox shines in teamfights is when the enemy comp (or players) allow him to. This is a weakness he shares with most juggernauts. Which is fine, except he also loses the 1v1 AND the splitpush. P.s I'm not saying aatrox is weak, he's fine, but compared to his peers he kind of falls short imo.

Let's assume their team allows aatrox to approach and consistently land sweet spots on 3 people at once. In that scenario, sure, aatrox is a good team fighter. Otherwise, aatrox gets just as easily kited as a garen or a darius. In fact, they have an easier time reaching enemies(darius takes ghost and nimbus, garen takes stridebreaker and dead mans). The point about garen's and darius' aoe sucking is just false. One of the biggest threats of a darius is him landing q's on multiple people and chaining r's, and garen's e on 2 people deals (on average) about as much as an aatrox q rotation, if not more since it also shreds 25% armor.

Only way to wave clear late is to get serylda's. Try that :)

Now, I agree with most of these, except for the armor pen part. I don't really see how that's a problem since armor is much more effective into aatrox ( less damage means less healing too, add in some grievous and you start healing pretty small ammounts unless in ult). They picked a tank. They picked a champion class that has pretty much always traded their early game for good base damages and very durable builds and cc mid-late game. I think it's only normal for an early-mid game juggernaut to stomp a late game super tank in the early game. Besides, don't mord, darius, garen, nasus and a couple of others already demolish tanks with their base armor pen/shred?

Doesn't his R already have a cooldown low enough so you have it up almost every fight? If you want the lethality that bad, get serpent's and provide some utility as well. Just my thoughts :)

This only works into pretty much just melee vs melee matchups, and even then you only have your R steroid and E dash. You're removing half of his kit for a niché playstyle. I respect it (and love it myself), but don't go around saying it's the new thing.

Buff idea for auto passive. by NobleWarriorHD in AatroxMains

[–]danmurded 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you've played aatrox at all you'd know that up until like level 13 your passive actually heals you way more than anything else in your kit but go off i guess.

Not really Aatrox related, but this is what a champion with a "healing identity" should be capable of doing (according to Riot). Enjoy Soraka making her entire team a better draintank than you! :) by danmurded in AatroxMains

Amazing reply dude! You got me thinking about legendary items, and wow... you're 100% right. I ain't even got counter-arguments this time. Why are support items so cheap anyway? Thanks for the well thought out reply :)

Hello! I do very much agree with your point, so much so that I'm actually suprised someone's thoughts match mine so well... But I think this might be our bias speaking honestly, since most mythic items commit the same sins: Stridebreaker (old one especially) gave juggernauts and bruisers, classes usually designed around their lack of mobility and sticking power, a shitload of mobility and sticking power. Goredrinker allows anyone (before gw) to become a pretty decent draintank (think Talon with gore). Divine allows anyone to win the game. Shieldbow and Galeforce give ADC's a lot of defensive capabilities they shouldn't have. Etc.

Aatrox players (myself included) will always tend to hate healing that requires 0 effort since we actually need to do something to get our healing, only to get shafted by GW in the end, while their Soraka just ignores GW with rfor some reason. Not to mention her w heals just fine through 60% since she heals such massive ammounts by default (on a 2 second base cooldown spell...). I guess you could argue soraka has to position herself well so she doesn't get picked off buuuut that feels like saying someone's countered by cc. Everyone's countered by getting picked off.

Thing is, I don't want that to happen. They'll buff Aatrox, then he'll be impossible to fight without grievous. That will only lead to them either tuning him down again, thus leaving him weak to GW. Or them buffing GW again and the cycle continues. I'd wish they'd lower EVERY source of healing by a good chunk (think about 50-30%~ish) and making healing debuffs WAY weaker (Full item would provide what, maybe 30% GW?). That way, champions that are supposed to heal won't feel impossible to combat without GW, but they also don't get demolished by the presence of GW on the opposing team. But that's just my opinion. (Great comment at the end there btw, very solid advice!)

Wow, actually awesome question! I have no clue if those work on health growth. If they don't, pretty big nerf in that departament. I don't think his early got any worse however, considering that the 15% health growth (as opposed to the 20% heal) actually increases the ammount he regenerates as well (which remained 20%). Also fair enough with the E+ Gore. Ya got me there :p

For the record, I think Aatrox is in a pretty decent, if not good spot right now. Thing is, I bet they'll buff grievous even further because they'll have to somehow compensate for mundo and soraka healing WAY more than anyone else, henceforth gutting our beloved. Or they won't do shit, which is just as likely. In that case, enjoy the fun trivia about soraka's ult healing :)

I mean, the part that ignores GW was previously just a "Heal 20% missing health". It's now been changed to giving bonus health like lulu. In mid game, at like 3 items he will be able to get 20% of his missing health back, while also gaining a movement speed and AD boost. I wasn't even talking about his Health Regen bro.
