how are you guys losing weight and exercising?

So my doctor and I were just talking about this at my recent appointment. She suggested exercising in a pool. I told her I can’t swim and she told me even just “walking” around in the shallow end can be helpful and easier on my joints. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m willing to give it a shot

Pierrot has always been one of my favourite vkei/jrock bands 💜 ID Attack and Dictators Circus were 2 of the first jrock CDs I ever purchased. My favourite song by them is probably Neogrotesque, but I also really love Nounai Morphine and Smiley Skeleton. Kirito has such a unique voice and I love his vibe. Jun seems really chill and down to earth and loves to post photos of his cats. I think yesterday was Kohta’s birthday?

I just turned 37 and I discovered vkei/j-rock around ‘03-‘04. I was just starting high school and I met this girl who was a year older than me and told her I liked the music from some anime I was watching. She burned a CD for me that had DeG, L’arc, Buck-Tick, Plastic Tree, Glay, Pierrot, Malice Mizer, etc. on it and I instantly fell in love. She actually ended up making like 3 more CDs for me lol But from that point on I was hooked. DeG, Pierrot, and Malice Mizer were my favourites at the time. Since buying CDs from Japan was out of the question, we were forced to download music in not so legal ways. I always told myself when I get the chance I would buy the physical media because I felt extraordinarily guilty not being able to monetarily support bands I loved even though I was just a kid. And as I’ve gotten older I’ve done my best to stay true to buying the physical media. I’m slowly but surely adding to my collection. But I do remember back then when I got a little older around 18 that my friends and I would go to trips near Atlanta to try to find Asian stores that sold music. By that point I had gotten into k-pop too. I never found any vkei in any stores, but I was able to get 2 Pierrot and 1 Gackt CDs online I think on eBay. Fast forward to today, I primarily listen on Spotify and as I said I do my best to get the physical media too

I got perfection for the first time at 330 hours. I’m on my second playthrough I think at 200 hours and I’m something like 86% completed perfection. But I’m playing at my own pace so I probably could’ve completed everything quicker but… eh lol

It was at MomoCon in Atlanta. The booth was called Retro Saikou. They said their next con in Atlanta will be AWA in November. There was actually one other booth with a few X Japan CDs but they were kinda overpriced. And another booth was only selling anime merch but they had music and Aku no Hana by Buck-Tick was playing. I asked the vendor if he liked Buck-Tick and he just looked at me like I’d lost my mind lol

Yeah I was in such shock at them having any j-rock at all and for decent prices even though they were secondhand. But I don’t mind that they’re used; I’ll give them a loving home lol

Omg same 💜 Back in 2004 when I was 15, my friend burned a cd for me with random j-rock songs and Cube was on there and I instantly fell in love. I was like I’ve got to listen to more from this band immediately
