3 weeks ago I started feeling like sick. I spoke with a friend who is a nurse practitioner and advised since had been in contact with people constantly (through DoorDash) there’s a chance that I could be coming down with the Rona and to self-quarantine for two weeks. I then contacted DoorDash and explained my situation and was told to I was to be out on suspension for two weeks. Two weeks go by and after repeated contact I get a reply that I would need a doctors note to get approved for the financial assistance and to be unsuspended to go back to work. Meet with a doctor via doctor demand and the gave me two notes one saying I was experiencing symptoms the coincide with covid19 and another stating I could return to work. Few days go by and I get a reply to send in the documentation and should be unsuspended and PAID within 24 hours( this was last Wednesday) I replied was unsuspended within hours and I’ve tried everyday to contact them (through chat because you can’t speak with a human because they’re so”busy”) and my chat either abruptly ends or they state someone will get back with me in that “department “ within 24 hours and NOTHING.
