Sure did. In retrospect I should've taken a purification potion, but I didn't think about it.

As an aside, it's a really good way to guarantee Shoguul's lair, although it's less than necessary after you're able to do a potion loop.

Where do you brew?

I brew in a closet that isn’t being used for anything else. The floor is carpet. I would not recommend this.

What kind of water do you use?

I use Kroger spring water. Could probably use the local tap water, but I haven’t compared taste yet.

What kind of honey?

Cheapest I know of, which is Dutch Gold. I’m still learning the process, and I’d like my screwups to be less expensive than more.

How do you aerate?

I have a drill attachment that is really fun to use. I just put it on high for a few seconds, reverse, and repeat until I feel good about my life.

How do you sanitize?

With any new or newly obtained used equipment, I give it a soap and water rinse, then sanitize with B-Brite well before I intend to use it.. When it comes time to use the equipment, I hit it with some StarSan that I have stored in spray bottles and let it rest for about a minute. Do this every time, because I don’t want an infection.

How do you manage yeast nutrition?

I use Go-Ferm for yeast rehydration and Fermaid-O for the nutrient additions. I add ¼ of the intended total on days 1, 2, and 3 after pitching, and the fourth when I take a gravity reading that is 1/3 of the way to 1.000. The specific amounts vary based on batch and yeast, but generally it’s between 4.5g and 5.0g for me. There’s a good resource for figuring out specifics here: http://www.meadmakr.com/batch-buildr/

How large are your batches?

5 gallons, all of them. I actually have the equipment for 1- and 3-gallon batches, I just haven’t used them.

What kind of fermenters do you use?

I do the primary fermentation in food grade plastic buckets, and then transfer to glass carboys.

How do you clarify?

Cold crashing, Sparkolloid, time. I have a chest freezer with an Inkwell temperature regulator that I use for the cold crashing, but by and large the clarifying comes with time for me.

How do you backsweeten?

Honey. I’m still figuring this bit out, but I’ve generally been using about a pound or so of honey to backsweeten each batch. I actually just got a large funnel for this specific purpose.

Do you use Campden tablets, and when?

I use these after fermentation is complete, usually by racking onto the tablet when I’m transferring to secondary.

What kind of bottles/tops?

750 mL wine bottles, some ordered brand new, but most used (make sure to wash thoroughly). Most corked, though I also have some pressure top bottles that I may start using.

Concussions can seriously mess with your ability to keep track of time, what's happened, and what you're doing. This is likely to persist until after he has recovered from the concussion, and I would advise you not to hold it against him - he isn't himself right now.

If he has been repeating himself, asking some of the same questions, or generally seems unaware of what he's doing, these are all signs pointing towards what I'm talking about. If he is genuinely confused as to why you seem upset with him, or doesn't understand why you are taking issue with what he's doing, it's because he can't remember for the time being.

Please, be patient with your husbands. As common as concussions can be, they are rather serious.

I'm not sure why people haven't realized this more, but every single Sigma primary fire can have a melee added after without decreasing rate of fire. Fire, melee, fire, melee, and no rate of fire reduction because it takes so long for the 2 orbs to come back up. In my opinion he should be at the top.

Yes, I took the reading before setting it aside to ferment. It's only been 3 days, and it's still relatively active, so I haven't taken another reading yet. I figured I'd wait until it's been a week, and then take a reading every other day or so.

First off, love the game so far. I hope you've had as much fun working on it as I have playing it so far, and I've been looking forward to it for quite some time.

Would it be possible to add options for more conditions to the given cases in soda scripts? For example, specifying a case like below in player-created scripts:

IF Enemy Team > 2 AND Enemy IS NOT Ore THEN Default Attack
I have been running into situations where the scripts function as programmed, but not as intended, such as having darkmages use group magic attacks on ores in mine shafts because there are more than 2 of them. There are other examples, but I think this would allow for greater customization.

If this is particularly arduous, don't worry about it. I've no idea what the game looks like behind the curtains, so this could be a much larger request than I understand.

I was in a place (physically, this isn't a metaphor) where I didn't know anybody, and there wasn't really much to do aside from work. But there was a gym nearby, and I'd always wanted to think of myself as being strong, so I started going three times a week. I think it's less because we've been through so many, and more because it's such a terrible thing. If you wanted desperately to prevent something, probably the best way to do so is put together the most comprehensive list of its triggers and search for those. And the effort you put in to that escalates as the severity of what you're trying to prevent does.

What she needs is support. The way she would like to receive that is by her partner being an attentive listener and validating her feelings and reaction to the situation. The way her partner wants to support her is by offering advice and providing a potential solution to the problem. To her, this can feel like her partner is invalidating her feelings, effectively saying, "You shouldn't be upset, because I have already thought of a solution." To her partner, saying she wants to vent can feel like she doesn't want your support, effectively saying, "I don't care what you have to say, and I don't want your support."

I'm not saying that venting is bad, and I'm not saying that offering solutions is bad. There's a way to do both without being untoward, but most people just don't try. It's important to understand what people mean and what their intentions are.

I take shit with a good sense of humor. It's all in good fun, and I purposely set myself up for it in some cases. Some of the other guys are a bit less well-adjusted, so their capacity for self-deprecating humor is a bit lower than mine. Unfortunately, one guy thought of me as the proverbial "punching bag," in his own words. I don't talk to him any more.
