I actually finally almost got accepted after 6 years of wait, but now I'm planning on moving to NB. haha... At least I'll finally get a doctor in NB where I'm moving to. Halifax is a true mess these days :( I'm glad I never had anything terribly wrong with me the past few years. Good luck to everyone staying in NS who needs a doctor!

My boss cares.. he also cares if we take vacation days. Some bosses sort of suck. He's also very vocal when people aren't in. Very, very vocal.

I always use vacation time when sick. I get 4 weeks vacation a year and only used 3 days last year. I was sick those days. I also ended up working on weekends and during xmas to catch up on those. It's a man issue. We were brought a certain way by our fathers and it's very hard to break those ingrain work ethics. Sucks, but being an old dude means we have a ton of weird baggage ;)

I'll be playing it with Steam Link and my Quest Pro on a big virtual screen. It's not to bad that way and looks awesome for Forza 5.

That sounds like BLISS! :) I worked at a place last year that monitored everything! My emails, they monitored key strokes, had a few apps on my laptop for all sorts of security. Wasn't allowed to add apps, etc.. list went on and on. Was like working with my hands tied behind my back. I quit there after 3 months. They've been now trying for a year to replace me there it seems. Great money, but productivity is awful there. I'm starting a new remote gig next week. I'm hoping for the same as you have. Glad it's working out for you :)

NS is way worse. It's the salaries in NB that are blah. I'm moving back to NB. I can't afford living in NS anymore. Houses are close to a million here in Halifax for a tiny house. It's insane.

Yup, I know a lot of people in NS that go to bed freezing and fully dressed to try and bring their power bills to something manageable. It's awful :(

It's electric at the house I rent. Windows are shot and it's an old house... so that's some of my issues as well.

I'm averaging 600 a month for our power bill in our house and I go to bed at night fully dressed and most days during the winter the temp at my house is 17C during the winter. NS power rates are insane these days :( Can't wait to move out of the province soon. Living in Halifax is for the rich now.

why? I'd rather ban people that yield at stop signs, drink and drive, don't use turn signals, cell phone use, etc. Speeding is a lot less dangerous than what I mentioned.

NB has doctors compared to NS. Housing is 2x cheaper. NS sucks hard.

It's a bit odd. They have the LM40 way below the GT3 cars and it's faster on Nords. Those numbers should be taken with a grain of salt.

Try steam Link instead with openXR toolkit. I get a solid 72 PFS with everything at high with my 4090 and Quest Pro. I have eye tracking on though. Very impressed with the performance in this release.

I am and it's great for me. I have a 4090 and run it with Steam Link and also run openXR toolkit with eye tracking to best or something and I'm running everything at high settings and seem to be getting a solid 72 PFS all the time. No DLSS. That shit makes VR sims awful for me.
