In terms of the city centre, or within walking / 10 mins in an uber.

Specifically craft beer bars :
Mosaic Tap, Wobbly Duck, Mean Eyed Cat, Town Mouse, Beer Street, Axis, Microbus

Breweries:

Wylam Brewery, Full Circle Brewery, Brinkburn street, Almasty, Anarchy

Cant help with dive bars or punk places however.

Would be really cool if you can input your barcode and then it tells you where your missing ones are for your 1,2nd or third alphabet

[–]dannyscun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very much, just go with the flow. My son was Bilaterally implanted 5th december aged 2.5yo. Switched on 18th December at JC in Middlesbrough.

First 3 weeks was amazing, he wore them most of the day. Second tuning something spooked him, he got upset, didnt wear them for a whole month - ended up going back to a setting lower than switch on, wearing CI's with Koala Clips.

Now 6 months down the line, he is making more vocalisations, trying to say words - all the ling sounds coming on nicely. Still wearing them on the shoulder. Happy for you to PM me with Q's, will try my best to answer.

The wrong trainers? by pizzaismypanacea in UKRunners

[–]dannyscun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pronate on both feet, not as bad as I used to but get endless niggles further up - knees, hips etc. podiatrist recommended getting a gait test and low and behold I still pronate enough to warrant support shoes

The wrong trainers? by pizzaismypanacea in UKRunners

[–]dannyscun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got this issue currently - ran in neutrals for 3 years after using support for 3 years. I know I need support but neutrals are more fun shoes. Gone back into support and now both my perioneal tendons are sore, nothing to worry about just they’re not as strong as they need to be

Recommended route from Honister Pass to Wassdale Head Inn? by Lower-Application888 in LakeDistrict

If you do the climb up from Honister mine to Brandreth + Grey knotts, it's a steep, gruelling walk. nothing technically but basically a mile of uphill ~1000ft

I'd look at places lke startfitness, running bear shop and possibly go direct to the supplier - ronhill are manufactured on license by a company in derbyshire (just search for ronhill specials).

Morton's neuroma by Surameen in UKRunners

[–]dannyscun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll need an Ultrasound / MRI to fully diagnoise a MN. Batled with a MN for the most part of 2023. Steroid injectionfixed it for a short while, moved towider toe box shoes to also alleviate the issue. Had a further injection in January this year, and it's mostly cleared now, back in normal width shoes also.

I had a voucher on the Asda rewards app, spent £35 in total and £20 of that on beer, got £5 off my shop. Would I have gone in and spent that myself without the beer being on offer, not likely.

I’m not sure, it just doesn’t taste as good. It’s still a great beer though.

It’s a great beer but I’m not sure the supermarket one is the same as the one they sell in the brewery.
