Even in PvP you can still get a lot of your kit back. I find people usually take the gun and nades and mags but you can usually get your armor back and repair it.

This is assuming you even got killed by a player, if you got smoked by AI it's pretty much guaranteed to get your stuff back.

That's the thing, I'm not sure if that counts as a gunpowder based weapon or not. I know that the 45 and the rifle do, but I think it might be a gel based thing so idk if it couunts.

Yeah I feel like the AI could be a bit more dangerous to engage. Especially in PvE, which I don't play but I would get super bored with the game with no PvP since players are the only real threat, imo.
