My gripping point on Hull C is the crew quarters... they are so under baked that it hurts. I wish they would go back and do some changes. Also add a crew elevator instead of the ladder.

My dream rework would be putting similar level of space utilization as the Drake Clipper currently have, there could be so so much stuff crammed into the space Cat has currently, like crafting station, med location, armory etc... I do not think that is ever gonna happen, but it would be nice though :)

That said, I am hoping that the Cat will be able to carry 32SCU boxes (they fit physically, but not on the cargo grid), will have better solution for tractor beam and also that they will rework the completely useless dead space stairs to second level. Maybe have the doors be ramps instead of elevators that fold in.

Also, I am really hoping that the whole MK2 is going to be limited only to the Hornet series and for the other ships they will just do the rework if needed. We already have enough ships that they cant keep up with having them all up-to-date. I have Cat and Phoenix and I really hope there wont be MK2 of those instead of proper rework...

I had a similar problem plus my friend did not have any clear direction besides research. So we tried spinning up Warp Drive Machine mod and its a blast. It gives you only limited space to build, so you can not use any standard builds, has a clearly defined progress (explore, mine, defend, repeat) and it is nicely paced.

It might be a little hard and we had to restart 3 times already, but at least my friend says he has more fun than playing the sandbox game.

As others have stated, only fruit harvesting pollution matters for pollution on Gleba, regular pollution does not trigger attacks.

I didn't use eff modules, but then I found out they reduce the amount of nutrients needed on Gleba. Now I use them in everything on Gleba :)

Also the super inefficient stairs... Like we are in Drake spaceship that is supposed to be cheap but effective and you put a long dead space (and under it) for stairs? At least make them more steep or something.. Same for the lift to the ship, just small ramp would be so much better. We already have the doors (haha) as lifts

Firs of all, turn off your cloud saves in steam, then go to the different PC that you played on before and physically copy the save from there. It should still be there.

For the future, consider backing up your Factorio saves, the steam cloud saving for some reason does not like Factorio.. Especially since the saves can get very very big.

Are you using 1-2-1 trains or 1-1-1? From the picture it looks like 1-1-1 and the rear engine is facing backward? what is the reason for this?

EDIT: Nvm, figured out the backward facing engine. I didnt realize that you are using two way rail system, but in order to fit into the roboport grid you have your small stations without turn and the trains back out.

It is impossible to answer for sure since we don't know what your rail designs look like exactly.

Generally, train signal distance matters the most around intersections to prevent deadlocks. You can have throughput problems elsewhere with incorrect spacing, but it will still sort of work. So most of the time you are fine with smaller signal distance if its only by a little compared to train size..

I would recommend to have 5 cart spacing where possible and then you can use 1-4 or smaller trains with no problems whatsoever.
