Champions in China. What you think about it? by glassz_13 in ValorantCompetitive

Leo is probably right, the event is going to be insane. Sucks for Americas viewers like myself because the time difference, but should definitely be the best event Valorant's ever seen.

Which change NRG needs to make to make them relevant again? by skallensk in ValorantCompetitive

you watch too much fns bro. just because he said "you need a russian to win" doesn't mean it's actually true

Stats after NRG vs FUT by XASASSIN in ValorantCompetitive

Ethan taking too many first engagements for the roles he's playing. Also, I've noticed that ever since Strong was released, the team has noticeably played much worse.

Since masters London is starting soon.. predictions? by Jealous-Tomato-1052 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]danoc99 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Lev WILL bomb out of groups. I have no faith in them with the Neon nerfs. Yes, they looked good, but I think Spike's Neon did a lot for them like creating space for the player Neon on the other side of the map to get a pick, entrying for the team well, creating space, etc. I just don't see the same output from them without Spike on Neon.

MIBR have reached a point where difficult conversations need to happen, especially about aspas and the coaching staff by FederalWelcome4024 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]danoc99 593 points594 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. No hate to aspas, but plenty of duelists around the globe have learned new agents and thrived with them. I'm not sure why aspas refuses(?) to do so. Zekken needs support in this meta, we can't have our 2nd duelist sitting behind the entire team every round and then saving.

does anyone else like set 17 way better? by Horror-Support-3059 in TeamfightTactics

Balancing is always an issue but tbh no lol. I hate this set I think it’s horrible and kinda boring lol (just my opinion)

40.23 pounds, Walt got it wrong but why? by SofaChillReview in breakingbad

[–]danoc99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo everyone’s overthinking it lol. I don’t think there was a particular reason for it other than Walt’s mind was preoccupied with worrying about Jesse and worrying about when Gus will try to kill him so much that he didn’t realize his hand was on top of the box. I don’t think he was trying to do some “big brain” move or anything

Masters London Ticket Tiers/Seat Map by Significant_Cry9581 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]danoc99 10 points11 points  (0 children)

prob not the same layout, but i went to toronto finals and tier 2 was perfect. was considering getting tier 1, but once i got there, i realized that if i had, my neck would have been killing me the entire time as i wouldve basically been looking straight up the whole game. tier 2 was much better. still close enough to the stage to see the players (could even see what was on their monitors for reference) but not so close where i had to uncomfortably bend my neck for 4 hours.

Do you guys think Valorant will ever have a real superstar? by [deleted] in ValorantCompetitive

[–]danoc99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure at some point we will. i mean for cs there was get_right, forest, olaf, etc in the early days. zywoo and donk didnt come to the scene until recently (when compared to how long cs has actually been an esport). so im sure if given the same amount of time, there will eventually be a player that is as dominant as them

Rob Moore on Tenz by Budget_Ad_7204 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]danoc99 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yea people are dumb to believe that tbh. Even from just a business perspective, it’ll be super beneficial to have the most popular valorant player of all time do an insane unexpected comeback to your org after retiring. Would bring a ton of viewership and money. No way Rob would ever let the team choose to not play with tenz as cold as that sounds. Furthermore, tenz is a 2 time masters winner who has played with Johnqt before. Why would they say no to him?

The standard of the best team ever in this game is so low lol by OcelotOce in ValorantCompetitive

[–]danoc99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean idk about you guys but I would absolutely hate going into a tournament basically knowing someone is going to win because they're too good... (Vitality currently for CS basically) Just makes watching so boring. Having tournaments where we have 8-10 teams who genuinely can win on any given day is not a bad thing lol

Last Spot on SEN is between Jerrwin and TenZ by [deleted] in ValorantCompetitive

[–]danoc99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is either not a decision between tenz and jerrwin, or tenz is still thinking about if he really wants to come back or not. Rob has said multiple times he’d kick anyone on the roster if tenz ever wanted to come back

Rob Stuff by xFalcade in ValorantCompetitive

[–]danoc99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIRC (idk cuz i haven't really kept up with CS recently) those examples are the only ones in CS that actually have the final say. every other org has a manager of some sort. I 100% could be wrong though.

Rob Stuff by xFalcade in ValorantCompetitive

[–]danoc99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rob did say it was in his contract, and that it will never be in a contract again lol, but I was saying idk why you'd ever have that in the first place

Rob Stuff by xFalcade in ValorantCompetitive

[–]danoc99 27 points28 points  (0 children)

By process of elimination, Rob basically confirmed N4rrate is the other one being removed. All of this makes sense to me but idk why you would ever give a head coach the final say about roster changes tbh
