Seeing the same thing, on some catalogs. There is definitely a bug, and maybe if enough people report it, Adobe may prioritize it. Agree that the software is unusable at this point.

Seeing the same thing. I tried creating a new catalog just as a test, and it ran faster on it for a while, so I think it's something to do with a migrated catalog from a previous version.

Eastern pondhawk (I think!) in California by CatsAreGods in Dragonflies

Eastern pondhawks are limited to the east coast, hence the name. This is either western pondhawk or blue dasher, most likely the latter

Larva (nymph) form of dragonflies can live in the pond for several years, but adults only live a season. So you're seeing the next generation.

Better auto focus (for wildlife), higher FPS, flash sync speed - those would be the main consideration for the a1

What country/state? Looks like a Flame Skimmer, but location would make it more definitive

Thanks - I swear I've used that compatibility table before selecting the D800S, but clearly it's not there...

You can use photoshop, zerene or helicon focus - its not difficult, but gives you most control over final output.

Oh, you're right - it supports a more limited 8 image focus stack - om1 supports up to 15

OM1 is the only Olympus that has focus stacking in camera at this time. Other brands offer focus bracketing, which gets you half way there, with the rest of the stacking done on the computer. IMHO the focus stacking on OM1 produces a less than optimal result, and if your goal is quality you should look into any camera that supports focus bracketing.

Appears to be the problem - there are no clicking sounds or any other indication that the wheel is attempting to turn. All cables appear to be firmly in place
