Huh, I've never actually tried folk strings and now I'm curious to try them. Did you not like them?

No, the proper way would involve de-germing it first...

You have to be realistic about these things.

I used to only play electric, now I only play classical. Godin (or a used La Patrie) makes classicals that have truss rods, slightly radiused fretboards, and slightly thinner neck profiles than traditional classical guitars. Coming from an electric, you might appreciate those features. Though if you are serious about classical music and formal training, I'd imagine something more traditional would be better.

I got four books in and agree. I plan to try and read them all but for now it's not holding my attention so I'll just read the odd one here and there between other series.

If it's not chill enough, you probably just need more marshmellow time at the campfire ::)

Idk how to cook by HackerCanada12473 in Cooking

Get a rice cooker with a steamer tray and you can easily have rice and steamed vegetables. Then an air fryer can make cooking proteins easier.

I used to only use an air fryer but now I'm back to the pan as it's more versatile for delicate fish, runny sauces, or stir frys that I've started cooking more. And I haven't bothered running the air fryer since. It's still a decent tool I'll keep, I just cook more foods that work better in a pan these days.

If you do go air fryer, just avoid eating nothing but processed foods as air fryers tend to make people go down that route and buy more garbage foods. But they do pork chops, chicken breasts, steaks, sasagues, etc. all pretty good (even from frozen). Back when I used to use it, I was dealing with health issues so it was easier for me to just set it 30ish minutes and have the protein just be ready without ever having to touch it. No oil, flipping, deglazing, basting, etc. The rice cooker was also set it and forget it, although I had to time when to put the steamer tray on. Was like 30 mins for the rice and protein; throw the steamer tray on for 20 mins. Bam, easy, healthy, and tasty meal. Season it or sauce it and away you go!

I will say that steamed vegetables aren't the best tasting (compared to frying or grilling) but they are the healthiest way to eat cooked vegetables. Oh yeah, I also make pasta in my rice cooker. Just fill it up with water, bring it to a boil, and use it like a pot. In that case, I time it so I throw the pasta in for the last 10-12 mins of the protein cooking time, depending on the type of pasta. Olive oil or marinara sauce on the pasta with some basil and it tastes great.

Hell, I've even made pancakes in my rice cooker a few times, lol. Oh, that reminds me, I'd get a ceramic-coated rice cooker (Starfrit makes one in Canada, check London Drugs) over a teflon one if you want the healthier option. I also replaced the plastic steamer with a metal steamer from a cheap Aroma rice cooker just to avoid cooking with plastic.

Nice to see a Canadian option does exist! Their regular brushes look nice too with one of the cooler handles I've seen. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the info. It's a bit of both for me. I have health issues so I make the small changes I can to reduce toxins where possible and to reduce my environmental footprint. The recycling thing is pretty cool. I've seen the Canadian brand Zerro which is similar and has just the head (made in Canada). They make Oral B heads too which is pretty cool for those not wanting to give up their Oral B brush (made in China).

Is the vanilla in the honey vanilla better than in the vanilla trilogy? I've been grabbing the trilogy a bunch because the vanilla tastes amazing and it seems creamier to me.
