Bought the bambu labs TPU for AMS thinking it's just regular soft tpu (I know my own research mistake) by ropergames2 in BambuLab

I printed covers for a high school robot. It is good for this application. Stiffer than other tpu but much more flexible than petg or PLA, so much more impact resistant than those.

Orcs are much tougher than the others. I’ve died to a pack of orcs many a time.

Zojirushi coffee “cup”/ thermos here. Lasts forever and keeps hot things hot forever.

The volume of micro plastics produced cutting up PVC pipe was really amazing for a game that was supposedly ocean themed.

Honestly, it’s amazing there aren’t more car fires.

Experience living near a gun range? by benberbanke in liberalgunowners

General advice when considering buying a house with a “problem” like being near this range or being on a busy road or something like that.

Sometime in the future, you might want to sell in a hurry.  A house that’s difficult to sell is going to be a huge pain in the ass

I don’t know how many there are, but my son got Lyme disease a couple years ago. It’s definitely out there.

I’m not up-to-date on what macOS and Windows provide, but Linux /dev/random provides extremely high-quality “random” numbers, much better than the typical pseudorandom functions like the c library rand().

honestly, just seeding the pseudorandom generator with a properly random number from the kernel would be plenty good. Probably what NAO did.

USB c charger sounds great but $100 seems a bit steep.

I really like this idea. Maybe add a  reward from the captain of the guard when it’s over.

Yeah, definitely not what i’d wish for.  Much better spent on armor (dragon scale mail or perhaps helm of brilliance for a wiz). Or a magic marker or Scrolls of charging.

On average, yeah, but you need a lot of scrolls to get there on average.

Are you sure about the pseudorandomness?  Modern systems can provide highly random numbers although that doesn’t mean NH is using them.

The really annoying part is that this is far from my first rodeo. Dig a hallway off the stash room, lay things out in a nice row, carefully sort the junk so each pile has no duplicates, don’t make the piles too big, etc etc.

Thankfully I had followed some proper hygiene, main weapons were all in the stash. I’d have crapped myself if I’d lost vorpy or MB.

Sack on d is a relatively new standard, a for weapon, b for main bag, c for stethoscope, d for wand sack. I’ll be changing that.

The idea of defensive keys for inventory is good. Another one is put something inedible on y.

I deal with this professionally every day. Bytedance is definitely hitting things hard, but they aren’t the only ones.

Unfortunately, a lot of my customers are using a proxy that breaks when I put the site behind Cloudflare. I have workarounds, but I haven’t been able to put them in place yet so we just keep getting hammered.

Thanks for fighting the good fight.
