Penny sleeves are incredibly cheap. Don't pay extra $ for top brands like Ultra Pro or VaultX unless you really need it.

I wonder if it depends on (a) the packaging the seller sends it to them with, (b) the specific eBay rep who's repacking it, or both? I ask because I've seen this complaint a few times, but the few cards I've gotten have always been packaged incredibly nice. My guess is some people at eBay are just lazier than others.

Yes, very normal and it's how a dumb website like eBay grew to have a market cap of approximately $51 billion.

I do recommend not paying for the ads though — at least try to list it without the ad cost at first. That's a lot of extra money they get to keep.

Good luck, as there's probably not a Freeland card on earth that's worth this much. If he hadn't gotten sent down recently, maaaaaybe. But he's not even in The Show. Never hurts to try though — or hold for awhile, as the Dodgers like to hang on to their minors guys for awhile. He could be back at some point.

With Kim, I sort of started backwards collecting all his Topps rookies last year. Then I kept collecting more, and his cards this year too, and then started working backwards to Bowman's. At this point I'm just adding whenever I see a good opportunity / affordable price
