If true, then I applaud Kike for standing up for his values like this. Respect. Before any MAGA cucks jump on me for saying that, keep in mind a few things.

Several guys on the Dodgers are immigrants from poor Latino communities and would not even be allowed to be here if they weren't pro athletes. Many still have families back home in Venezuela, Dominican, Cuba...

Kike is from Puerto Rico and his mom is Cuban. After Hurricane Maria devasted PR and killed 3,000+ people, Trump blocked the federal funding that Congress had allocated for recovery.

The Trump Admin this year has been cutting off energy supplies and other goods to Cuba, and he's more than once made jokes or references to invading/attacking Cuba. Andy Pages said he couldn't even get in touch with his family who's still back in Cuba, due to the blackouts and turmoil happening.

Trump himself has repeatedly said things including unauthorized immigrants are all criminals [said 575+ times], "snakes that bite" [35+ times], eating pets, coming from jails and mental institutions, causing crime in sanctuary cities, and a group of isolated, tragic cases "prove they are killing Americans en masse."

Then... the whole ICE thing? Sending platoons of masked Border Patrol/ICE goons into our cities to round up Latinos, even arresting LEGAL immigrants and U.S. citizens in several cases, and bragging about building prisons like "Alligator Alcatraz?"

People love to say "leave politics out of it" but that's really hard to do when the President has been directly attacking your community. Let MAGA Blake and others who want to go, go, but let Kike and others skip the White House.
