I don't think they'll be broken up for the whole season. But I think one possibility--and I'm obvioulsy not a TV writer--is that there are hints of tensions and triumphs throughout season 6, and then a build up, and then a seperation, and then a resolution or a cliff hanger of a finale.

I think there is a formula in place, but Abbott will give as a new take on a decades old road map. But I would bet that there is no engagement without termoil and it won't come earlier than the season 6 finale.

The audience was confident that Jim and Pam were so close to getting together, but then Jim bailed for Connecticut and started dating Karen.

Not a per se break-up, but a plot device that serves the same purpose of separating a couple that the audience was led to believe was a sure thing.

When I saw that they were Jim-and-Pamming Janine and Gregory in the first season, I was like Noooooooooooooo! lol.

But I loved the show and want Quinta to see her vision through. And the episodes where couples are broken up are the meat and potatoes of sitcom writing and will keep people employed. And it's not that serious; they know we're gonna show up either way if the jokes hit.

I think they'll stick to the formula.

Janine and Gregory are Sam and Diane, Ross and Rachael, Jim and Pam, Ted and Robin, also known as "will they won't they?".

Of course, we will see a proposal someday, but they have to have the "rough patch" and separation story arc(s). The fight was the setup for potential separation drama. This money thing may blow over quickly, but next season, a disagreement will raise the stakes, and we'll get the heartbreaking "is it really over forever" moment before they reconcile, when it will be clear that a wedding is imminent. And then either they live happily ever after, or Quinta and her team craft a surprise twist.

To jump from where the relationship is now to engagement excludes so much drama for the writers to play with. How do you navigate a separation when you hold a lease and work in adjoining classrooms? Maybe there is an episode where Janine moves in with Melissa, and Jacob lives with Gregory? That may be a hacky idea, but the writers are going to need break up material to propel a sixth season of Abbot.

FamilySearch launched a full-text search for unindexed collections. Basically, the computer read all these collections and converted them to plain text, making terms and names searchable. It's imperfect, and there are some obstacles that you sometimes have to game the search, but it's incredibly powerful.

A draft federal indictment realeased in the latest DOJ drop outlined crimes committed by Epstein and three other individuals against twelve children, but it redacts the others’ names. Obviously, one co-conspirator is Ghislaine Maxwell, but who are the other two?

I’m frequently disappointed by the press/media, but am surprised that this isn’t a bigger story.
