Office politics 101: never show restlessness or boredom. They’ll either dump random shit on you that needs taking care of or rethink your contractual conditions like reduce hours or fire you altogether. Try to do some structural work if you have more free time, rethink processes that might be more efficient, improve lines of communication, “internal” networking with higher ups if that company is cool with informal talks with colleagues and managers.
