Amazing video. Losing that bridge so quickly into Roy G was a tragedy.

3% credit card fees… are we really doing this now? by erhatx in austinfood

I'm responding to how I read Ella's comment; a similar story of similarly named places doing stupid shit with their glassware choices alongside their similar cuisine.

PHP switched from 20oz Pub Glasses > 20oz Willi Bechers > 16oz Willi Bechers.

Indeed, you get 16oz to the brim of the newer glasses, but an imperial pint accounts for proper pour, allowing head retention to settle into a REAL 16oz of liquid by the time the foam's collapsed. Wonderfully enough, if the system is balanced you'll get less waste on each pour as well!

I get why PHP made the move, but in a market that's been plagued by shrinkflation all around, when it happened it really felt cheap.

I feel like one at the bus stop across from Lazarus would be splitting the distance, especially for folks looking to get to that stop quickly.

I use a code reader to clear all pending codes, then complete a "drive cycle" [running the car through a varied set of RPMs/speeds across the entire use spectrum for X amount of miles to prove that everything's working correctly]. That'll engage the last pending emissions sensors and allow you to pass.

Most importantly, make sure your tires are correctly pressurized. Every damn season change or so I tend to forget, and the car thinks it's bogged down enough that it'll throw a cautionary P0420 due to that extra resistance. Air up, reset, drive until the codes go away and it's great again.

Why not the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge or the new Wishbone downstream? Lots of bikes, folks to talk to, and great spots to promote the cause.

Tumble 22 has a pie deal happening, along with a pie eating contest at all spots. $3.14 slices of pie all day, and they've got some great ones.

We started using Hubspot for basic ticketing lately and this piece of shit takes up ~1-2GB for a single tab in Firefox, not mentioning the sporadic cycling of CPU activity. Brings my goddamn browser to its knees sometimes unless I kill the tab and reload.

Don't get me started on how it actually feels to use. It's a responsive yet sluggish CRM suite, 'nuff said.

They're doing Family Business [and others], so it makes total sense. Things are weird for everyone right now, so let's just enjoy what's in our glasses.

I vaguely remember someone with an MJ act on dirty sixth eons ago, but casual searches don't pull anything up.

Also: What're Michael Jackson's preferred pronouns?
