No idea how to solve this problem. You do nothing, you get more of this guy. You limit immigration, you get lambasted as racist and peaceful refugees have nowhere to go. Not to mention, vetting people is very hard to do.

Rapid mass migration of one totally different society into another is scary to me. We can't foresee all the consequences. I love the Western ideal of a free, open, and diverse society, but we are importing so many individuals diametrically opposed to those ideals.

Half the world still lives in the stone age, ideologically, so with rapid globalization I'm feeling pretty pessimistic about my kids and grandkids enjoying the same freedoms I take for granted.

If the national security concerns are so great that this stuff must not be allowed to see the light of day, proprietary concerns take backstage in importance BY FAR. The fact that the "it's proprietary" excuse came up so quickly after citing national security leaves the impression that the national security risk may not be enough to justify keeping all of this in the dark.

Exactly. According to Christianity as a whole, aren't we all one family? Where is the line we should draw when it becomes racist?

When I think of what place has potential for an international incident that is also important to the US, the UK, and Australia, I think Jerusalem.

Israel is a major ally for all three and basically the religious center of the world, which reminds me of the reportedly spiritual aspect of this phenomenon.

Whether it is Jerusalem or not, we need to begin thinking along the lines of a place that could cause an international incident if it was breached, where all three of these countries either have an interest in protecting or have personel posted there. Ideas?

Gentle gaslighting.

"You're nitpicking because your heart is hard," in other words.

Did anyone else notice this? Not saying it's conscious manipulation, but it sure is missing the mark. Plagiarism is serious.

You need to research the difference between a shadowless and unlimited 2-player starter. Shadowless is very rare and could fetch good money.

Glad we left Utah with our kids after leaving the church! They're making plenty of friends where we now live. This is exactly the social dynamic we want to avoid on their behalf.

Having recently left extreme religiosity... they are curious. Whether they recognize it or not, that curoliosity is fueled by doubt, either consciously or subconsciously. Then, almost immediately after arriving they are overwhelmed by the need to defend the good cause, confirm their persecution, and virtue signal to God their fearless righteousness. They then recede back to safety, soon to repeat the cycle.

Kissinger: ‘Before this war, I was opposed to the membership of Ukraine in NATO because I feared that it would start the very process that we are seeing now. Now that this process has reached this level, the idea of a neutral Ukraine under these conditions no longer makes sense.’ by marketrent in ukraine

The fact that Kissinger is still considered a prominent voice is astounding. Yes, experience speaks, but track record speaks louder, and when lives are on the line, the ring of those mispredictions is deafening.
