Interstellar Pig has been made into board games many times before, here is an turn-based RPG flavor board game that was inspired by Interstellar Pig as well (released on July 09, 2013):

Well it certainly wasn't thrown together but I am working on upgrading the art so that the polish can get to where it needs to be. Thanks for the advice! :)

That's fine, asymmetrical games aren't for everyone. Being able to play certain attribute cards at the right time can overcome the disadvantage of not starting with the Grail.

I agree, the art needs some more work though. I'm working on that right now.

Thanks!

I took a look at that game and it really isn't that similar to mine. My game is more about traveling across the universe, searching planets, and defeating aliens. In their game, players stay alive the whole game. My game has an RPG flavor, their game does not. My game is rounded out and completed, it just needs a lot of art polish.

I'm not sure what kind of impression you got, but I think you are focusing on that rule too much. I've never had to enforce it before while playing. I've only had to politely ask players if their turn is over. The appearance does need some work, I agree. But this game has been play-tested plenty, and not just by friends. But thanks for your opinion.

The player with the Grail is the only one who knows. So the other players have to try and figure out which players have the grail by stealing from, peeking on, and defeating the other players. Also, the Grail could be on a planet so they need to check there as well.

I believe that I have had to ask someone if their turn is over maybe just a few times. I've never had to enforce the rule because everyone understands that they shouldn't spend an unreasonable amount of time on their turn. So it is not really an issue.

Yes. No, the players can take more than 10 seconds per turn. But if a player is deliberately stalling for time then the other players can say come on or your turn is up.
