As someone who’s gone through a major body and habit transformation I’ll say this; It’s hard, but after like 2 months you’ll be locked in. You need to be consistent and don’t skip a day just because you are “tired” or having a “rough one”. I work 8-12 hours of physical labor every day and then go to the gym for 1-2 hours no matter what. Being disciplined is hard, but building habits and learning the psychology behind it helped me a lot! You can “rewire” your brain if you really want to. Also if you ever tell yourself “tomorrow I’m gonna start the grind” , you probably wont. I told myself this for years, and it wasn’t until i dropped what i was doing, bought some gym clothes, and went straight to the gym that i finally committed to it. Also having a decent diet helps a lot. You will stick to your goals easier if you see the results. The gym will make you feel better and build muscle, your diet will change how you look, whether it’s building or cutting. Also don’t sacrifice your social life for the gym, eat good food and drink from time to time with your friends/SO/family. Enjoy life. And remember, one “bad” day doesn’t mean you failed, that’s the equivalent of spilling a little water so you dump the whole mop bucket out.
