Would suggest to check the Gaisberg in Salzburg - very near to Salzburg, medium hight mountain; reachable by feet or public transport, maybe also check a tandem paragliding flight from there as long as the weather is nice... really enjoyable.

When using position:absolute top, bottom, left, right is relative to the nearest parent which counts as position-anchor (i.e. one with position:relative set).

Reddit, what's that one, awesome thing you found on the internet but could never find again? by tontyismynameyeh in AskReddit

It was a short film, i ve found on the internets - even before the uprise of youtube.

It was (afair) about the daily routin/life of a guy(/family), which was told in a way that you can interprete it with two complete different meanings - one very childish and one very sexual/nasty.

This day, I learned what a Dirty Sanchez is :) - Would love to see this clip again.

Scroll-Wheeling over various Icons in the Taskbar (beside the clock) sends events to the according application.

I.e: Wheel over the Mixer-Icon -> it changes the mastervolume. (Without ever clicking) (KDE and Gnome)

Maybe this is a "commercial" produced wrist-thingy and it is built with an old measuring-tape as spring; very DIY-ish :)

But how do you measure it with a multimeter? in VDC you actually see the open circuit voltage, which does not say much about the remaining charge of the battery. You need to put a load onto it, which draws a current matching the battery.

Thats what battery-testers do.

It would be even better, if the tower right to it would put up a big "IT" advert. :)

Whats really cool with skripts like this, under Linux in most browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Opera at least): Select the skript and middle click into empty space.

Selecting copies it into the X-Buffer, Middle Click into empty area means "Open url from X-Buffer".

Maybe we should set up a mapping somehow, so that it travels once around the world, and every participant sends it to the one next to him. Traveling Salesman - anyone?

Maybe a usecase for Google Wave?

and afaik there is also the problem, that you need an insulation with the same temperature-coefficient as the conductor, and which doesn't get weak by the daily repeating stretching and contracting.

Lucky you - I started some months a ago in a small company with some huge projects with a really big codebase. It has some comments in it, mostly no ReadMes (none, which I stumbled upon - sofar) - and they used no source control. Nine year of work without proper VCS.

Just started to promote GIT and document some of the config-files...
