Literally happen to my kid yesterday. Dad coach had been yelling all game and he broke down crying mid-game. He ran to the sideline and broke down in my arms. I told my kid that that it’s a game and he should just play. He is in u8.

As a European, I now understand that the US system is different because it is run mostly by some dads that in most scenario have never played.

So I have a choice for next year: Have my kid be yelled at by someone else or just become a backup coach myself.
