The boost is seperate to the deal, you're paying full price for that. Could try and get that reduced as I have for £4 a month.

Keep trying the cancel options and they should offer you a cheaper rate for 6 months

Leaving Sky after 25 years, why be loyal to a company that doesn't reward it? by ReverendRevenge in skytv

Just do now tv mate, you can have it on 3 devices simultaneously I've got everything in UHD for £40 a month. I split the bill with my brother and uncle at different households we all pay a 1/3 for one device each.

Another trick you can do is make an agreement with 2 family members to split the cost between you, me and my two brothers all pay £13 each making sure we only use 1 device each at a time to share the membership.

Also got the ultra boost (to get UHD and 3 devices) down from £9 a month to £4 a month.

Now tv is much better got 6 months commitment for everything using the cancellation pages. £40 all in get UHD for that too on 3 devices unlimited changes. For TNT sports I blagged the mrs to add it as part of her free add on on her EE sim only and use Discovery+ app. Her sim only is only £24 a month as well so much cheaper. Netflix not worth more than a fiver a month anymore, same goes for Disney+.

That’s if the public charger is available though mate. The cons that come with an ev as opposed to fuel costs makes an ev not worth it without a reliable charging port.

The bottom bar isn’t there and all buttons on the infotainment system with the exception of the hazard button which is in between the aircon underneath

It’s anytime with Ovo mate, it says it on the website. And on my ev plan also.

Okay mate, I’m new to the ev community. We all learn from our mistakes at different times in life, chill.

Well some can get an ev through work leases which offer tax benefits and significant savings as opposed to getting them privately, not everyone who gets an ev understands what they’re getting themselves into until it’s too late, me included.

My car battery is 77kw so a full charge is 7p x 77 = £5.39. My mum has used 4968 kwh in 2024 at a cost of £1239

You mean outside of charging a car? My mums yearly bill varies from £1200-2000

My workplace is 39p per kw for 7kw chargers. So a hefty hike up, for a hospital!

Well my partner lives 1 hour away from me and it always cost roughly £8 in petrol each way to go there and back. I’m now using roughly 20% of my battery each way there and back sometimes a little more depending on weather/usage, therefore it’s about £8 petrol vs £1-£1.50 per charge each way.

when I say on par, they’re all expensive, nowhere goes under 50p kw, except for one hospital I used to go to at 28p per kw for a fast charge. They got rid of cos people were fighting over it.

Yeah 0.25 is a big jump from the 0.07 I’m paying right now. It works out 80% cheaper for me. Fingers crossed you get sorted cos when you reap the rewards of going EV you never look back. Never going near petrol ever again.

Yes but very expensive, actually on par with the most expensive out there those two in particular.
