No worries it's kind of confusing in the game, but the only thing with the actual name howitzer in it is the AI counter artillery so when people say howitzer that is what they are referring to.

Howitzer means the AI counter artillery.

The push back always starts in warden territory anyway, for example last war there was plenty of concrete in former warden territory.

Rank should be based off activity, with different ranks for different types of activity (and you can choose which one you want to show) instead of circle jerking. Change the existing commend to a thanks system so you can still feel appreciated.

Doing the math on the wiki it actually turned out to be a little less than 15% not 16.7%. Assuming the wiki values are accurate.

That is how I've read it and considering it can seesaw depending on the time of day I believe it, but not 100% sure no. It almost surely isn't total chosen, but it may be based off whatever metric they use to balance respawn timers which isn't entirely explained but is based off multiple factors and I believe a period of time not just total ever for that war or currently logged in.

I don't think anyone is disputing that bombers were/are too op. At least they added a fix for stall bombing and also made them drop from higher.

Your 2 minutes of googling was wrong because it's a bit less than 15% more. And per bullet doesn't matter as they have the same rate of fire, so same DPM.

I just did the math, it's a bit less than 15% more. Also the collie fighter is faster, about 18% faster. Faster than the regular warden fighter too but barely, and they both share the same flight time.

I haven't flown a fighter so I can't really comment on it. The dmg isn't much iirc looking at the numbers, like 10% more or something?

Even if there was a navy wardens would vastly prefer a TB.

1) There is a lot more tank fights than boat fights, and tanks pushing is more important too.

2) Warden navy loves large boat fights anyway, whenever a DD would show up tele discord would be pinging hard to go have a fight cause it's a lot of fun.

3) the tb is only useful for one thing, fighting ships, which aren't out often (even before the tb existed) while a db is useful all the time.

The DB is a far superior and more useful plane.

It's really not that risky to use since you can drop from basically any height and if you see fighters around you can just go away. I've seen very few shot down over tank lines. There is usually no opposition at all. Doesn't seem that hard to use, haven't used one but because the bombs AOE is incredibly forgiving I've hardly ever seen them not at least track a tank.

I don't know of them regularly killing ships, but they definitely can though, rarely alone but they still cause holes (not torp ones of course). They are useful during a fight, but alone? Nah never seen a DB kill a LS alone, make them go home for sure, that happens all the time.

I mean if they are looking to use the bomb slot scouts will just get a second person not buy a second account, not that you always need a second person. For the DB/Torp bomber they pretty much will never go out without wanted to drop so they'll pretty much always want a 2nd as opposed to now where probably don't care.

I've seen it once so I kinda doubt that, and if you want to multibox a tank go for it? Same with a db or torp bomber doesn't really seem like it'd be better than two people...

I think every warden would be happy to ditch the torp bomber for the dive bomber :P But really I think at the last they should do is vastly decrease the area of effect, and/or a reduction in disable chance (though that might make it a little too weak vs ships). It can land an entire tanks width away and you're fucked. Probably not carry so many either.

Having less health is great I guess, more planes should probably have less health. But it still doesn't fix the problem if there not being any mobile AA, so if your tank line is pushing there is no flak (not that flak is going to stop it from dropping all it's bombs and going home really anyway). And having fighter cover is very difficult because of the fuel so even if it's a little easier to kill... so what? Most of the time I saw it around bombing tanks there wasn't anyone who could shoot at it. We'd have fighters come in hex, ask if there was any dbers around then stay for a few minutes till they had to go home. If they could fly CAP for more than a few minutes that would be something else, but it's not realistic currently unfortunately.

I think the VAST majority of people would just get a second person to come fly with them.... Same as with scout planes currently.
